I was in this hartsdale showroom and met Maria who was so amazing. Knowledgeable and friendly. I am looking forward to returning and having her help me update my living room. I had no idea how customizable my purchase could be to suit my needs.
If you are looking for new ideas or just want to explore enhancing your own I would strongly recommend meeting Shawn Norman, an interior designer, who Bassett was wise enough to employ. Whether you know your color pallette or just have some vague ideas he will collaborate with you to bring the best furnishing that Bassett has to offer and we already know Bassett is a great producer of American made furniture. Shawn helped me place an order for a dining and living room made to order for me personally with my specific needs. With the Labor Day sale and the no interest financing, I am a very happy camper!
I loved every single thing about my purchase at Bassett! Your sales person was so helpful, and made my whole buying experience wonderful. The delivery was top-notch...they did an excellent job and were very professional. And I am totally IN LOVE with my furniture! It is absolutely first quality, will last forever, and is totally beautiful. I waited a long time to buy a new dining room, because I didn't want to settle- I wanted the very best, and now I feel like I have it. It was worth every penny. THANK YOU!"
Absolutely exquisite! I've been looking to decorate some of my apartments, so I decided to go and take a look. I had some time today to go through their showroom to view their furniture. This is some of the finest furniture anywhere. The rooms that they have set up to display their inventory are gorgeous. I would even recommend buying showroom floor items. Quality generally means price, so you cannot be on a budget to shop here. This is top of the line all the way. So, if you're in the market for high quality accents to furnish your home, give this place of shot and you'll see what I mean. It goes without saying that the staff compliments the furniture and environment. Fine home furniture!!
We just received our beautiful dining room table and chairs, and couldn't be happier. We had a fantastic experience with Jane at Bassett Furniture in Hartsdale! She provided amazing service, proactively updating us from start to finish, right up to the minute the furniture was delivered. I had emailed to thank her, and she had already checked in with the delivery team to check their photos and ensure all was as expected. Thank you Jane!
Chris was our salesperson. We met twice and he was knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He was a superstar. After that, my experience when downhill. I had to call three times to get the samples of my fabric. By the time they arrived, it was too late. The paperwork said I would get the furniture 12/30. I had to call at least 4 times to get an estimated delivery date. Furniture didn't show up until 1/7! When it arrived, the $2000 custom ottoman I bought in black is more grey than black. I wanted jet black. This already looks faded and I am extremely disappointed as it ruins the look of the entire room."
We had a wonderful experience working with our designer, Kristin Patrician, at Bassett. She made a home visit, worked with our taste, and then laid out a plan for us that was just right and within our budget. She was totally approachable and remained in contact with us to make sure our needs were met. We picked out a rug, love seat, and 2 recliners and they all look great! Thanks for your help, Kristin!
I have bought a number of pieces of furniture at Bassetts. I have not had the furniture long enough to comment on the quality or durability. However, throughout the time, I have worked with Jane Sonders. Jane is extremely creative and has a wonderful eye for color. Beautiful rooms have been created under her guidance. This is complimented by her lovely personality and her desire to go to whatever lengths were necessary to make room plans turn out right. She is a delight to work with and truly knows the meaning of customer service.

Delivery of the furniture was on time actually a little earlier than expected and the delivery workers were very nice as well."
I’ve tried to hold off on writing this review hoping the store manager would be able to fix the problems we had with the two items we ordered. I don’t know if the problem is with Bassett itself, the Hartsdale location or the delivery service they use, but both of our pieces were damaged. Four months later we are still begging Bassett to resolve the issues, it’s disheartening to still see holes in the fabric of furniture we purchased 4 months ago. We are first time customers who will not be recommending Bassett to our friends.
