Timmy Miller was by far the best furniture sales rep I’ve come into contact with. He wasn’t even a sales rep, he was a living room designer based on my experience with him. Would highly recommend going here and asking for him. He laid our 4 different living room floor plans, gave us ideas we could never imagine, and a discount of 30% off! Extremely happy with my visit.
BUYERS BEWARE! Do not by any means let them talk you into getting a Guardsman Protection Plan for your furniture. This is a scam and way for them to make further commissions. Guardsman is a complete joke and will make every excuse in the book not to have to fix your furniture. The salesperson will tell you that it is the greatest thing going, that the plan covers anything and everything, but that is a complete LIE so that they can scam you out of money! I bought a sofa with a protection plan. The sofa is not holding up well- stress tears, pilling of fabric, pile loss, etc. I paid a fortune for POOR QUALITY+ PROTECTION PLAN SCAM!!!!
One of the nicest furniture stores in the area. Every piece is beautifully displayed and paired with the perfect accent furniture. The staff are warm and helpful with an in-depth knowledge of fabrics, colors and prices.
Bassett furniture is not what is use to be- I purchased furniture during pandemic- and it was one of the worst purchases we have ever made. The furniture keeps ripping on the seams and is so poorly made. BEWARE- the warranty for materials on their furniture is only covered for a year and now I know why Please look into the product carefully and do not buy just on their reputation. Unfortunately Bassett can no longer ride on its name, it has gone downhill. Think twice!
The nightstands we ordered started peeling and chipping in under a year after typical use. They said our furniture would be ready in May 2021, it was delivered to us in August 2021. Save your money, nothing worth a dime here imo.
We bought 4 pieces of bedroom furniture 10/2021. All 4 of them arrived with quality issues. 2 nightstands had a redundant wooden piece nailed into the drawers keeping them from opening/ closing properly. Our tall drawer stand’s drawers are off center in their respective holes. Our 8 drawer long nightstand had a scraping noise when opening the drawers. We had techs out multiple times to fix them. The 8 drawer piece couldn’t be fixed so they replaced it. We didn’t even both telling them about the tall one because it was all such a hassle. The replacement piece came in 3/2022 because they had to build it, but it arrived with quality issues too. The nails they use inside the drawers of the new piece to attach the handles are very sharp and I’m going to need to sand them down so they don’t rip our clothing. It’s really weird, some of the handle nails are inside a hole to hide them, but others aren’t - like two different techs built this. All I’m saying is this is the last time we buy from Bassett and next time we’re going with MACHINE PRECISION ASSEMBLY LINE PRODUCTION. We spent way too much for the quality that we received. Their customer service was great through the entire experience but the quality of the builds are not what we expected. They look nice though
We ordered a custom couch from Bassett in Princeton. It took 16 weeks to get to us and we understand the lead time and was notified. We spent around $4K on this couch. It is a great piece when we received it. 6 to 8 weeks using it the cushions are flattening. I tried plumping my cushions and rotating too. I went to Basseett for quality and very disappointed with this. I called customer service and they told me this is not covered under warranty. Very disappointed with quality
Beautiful furniture and top notch service A little over a year ago, my husband and I visited Bassett Furniture and fell in love with a sectional. One of the associates was kind enough to let us know that there was a sale coming up and advised us to come back then. The staff was so helpful in assisting us with our purchase and offering suggestions for materials. We have received so many compliments on the sectional. We recently decided to extend the sectional and add another piece. I was happy to find that I could do so online. The next day, I received a call from an associate in the KOP store who advised that they were processing our order and wanted to let us know that the standard material had changed and that there would be an additional charge to match the material of our sectional. How many places would have just shipped me what I ordered without noticing I was ordering it to go with a piece I ordered over a year ago? After a couple calls back and forth while I considered my options, she informed me that she was able to call around and find enough material to complete my order and that they wouldn't have to charge an additional amount. Thank you for going above and beyond!
Will promise anything to get the sale. Made it difficult to return or cancel orders after informing us that shipping will be delayed. Ultimately sent us the wrong item which we refused to accept. I don’t know when I will expect the item now. Not what you would like to deal with when moving to a new home. Would not shop at Bassett again.
My fiance and I were shopping for a new couch and went to 3 other stores in addition to Bassett, which was superior in service, quality, and overall experience. We worked with both Kim and Amyann store manager and were impressed with both. Kim has interior decorating experience and was helpful in suggesting timeless fabrics and furniture styles that were worth investing in. Amyann was great with helping with logistics and assisted us while Kim was helping another customer. We will return for future furniture purchases!
