RECURRING PROGRAMS
Storytime Plus: Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30-11:30am in the Pressley Meeting Room; preschool aged children
Lego Club: 3rd Tuesday of the month from 3:00-4:30pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; kids, teens, and adults are welcome, but children under 8 must be supervised by an adult
Homeschool Class: 1st Thursday of the month from 2:00-3:30pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; for school-aged kids and teens, but children under 8 must be supervised by an adult
Teen Thursdays: Thursdays from 5:00-7:00pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; 13-17 year olds
Tween Tuesdays: 2nd Tuesday of the month from 4:30-5:30pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; 10-13 year olds
NEW Makerspace: 3rd Monday of the month from 4:00-6:00pm and 4th Monday of the month from 10am-1pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; kids, teens, and adults are welcome, but children under 8 must be supervised by an adult
NEW Chess Club: 1st, 2nd, and 4th Wednesays of the month from 4:00-6:00pm in the Pressley Meeting Room; kids, teens, and adults are welcome, but children under 8 must be supervised by an adult
RECURRING SERVICES
Literacy Volunteers of Bastrop: Mondays from 10:00-11:00am and Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm -- Free tutoring for children and adults needing help with reading, writing, and basic math. Tutors also provide assistance with GED preparation. For additional information about these services, please call (512) 521-7860 or visit www.literacybastrop.org.
Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas: 1st Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:30pm -- This agency helps low-income people with their civil legal problems by providing legal advice and representation for those who qualify. Those needing help must sign-in between 5:30 and 6:30pm. Criminal and immigration matters will not be discussed. Spanish translation available.
Area Agency on Aging: 1st Friday of the month from 10:00-4:00pm -- Provides services to support and advocate for the health, safety, and well-being of older adults. Trained staff will also provide contact information for referral services or outside service providers to assist you. Agency personnel are bilingual and ready to help you!
