Bates Troy Laundry and Cleaners

I had a relatively new 6 months old cashmere sweater depilled and dry-cleaned by them. It came back with several holes in it. I called to complain, they took my number down and said a manager would call me back. They never did. I paid them $16 for the privilege of having them ruin my favorite and expensive sweater.Service: Organic dry cleaning

My fiancé had his dress pants altered here. We weren’t happy with the length of the pants as no one was there to measure and “pin it” when it was dropped off and no one told us that was an option…when picking up the tailor said if we want it corrected we had to PAY AGAIN for the exact same service. She then tried to pin the hem on him which is what should’ve been done when we dropped it off and she PRICKED HIM with the needle. The hem now has blood stains on it. With that being said my reason for the poor review is that the tailor was so RUDE as a person. I would not want her working for me if it was my business. She treated us very poorly and once she was done saying what she wanted in an unprofessional manner she just walked away and we were left to walk away unhappy with the product and the customer service. I will not be going back to this place again.

I went into get my dress pants altered and had the worst experience at this location. There attitude changed drastically as soon as I paid and instantly went to “you are wrong” and “you need to pay again for the same service”. The tailor was extremely rude and unskilled. I will never be visiting this place again.

I brought in two dresses one silk, one lace to have dry cleaned by this company. Both of these dresses came back with tears and rips on them with no explanation or reason for it. I will never return there again, and if you love the clothes that you wear, I would recommend you do your dry cleaning elsewhere as well.

Sort of like Bates Troy. Customer service is great. Always courteous. My greatest issue is timing. I do not understand how in this day and age I have to wait a week for one pair of pants to be cleaned: this is standard! In lower NY it takes 3 days or less and this was in the 1990s! They are a huge company in Binghamton and they do much commercial work so their system operations an go machines must be better. Imagine if a company from the city learned of such slow service. Maybe it's just turn consumer side. I tend to go to them for hemming pants but happy of the time the stitching comes loose all in it's own. I want to like them more but I find this aspect of service quite frustrating. Anyone know a good tailor in Binghamton?

Brought my daughters coat in to be cleaned said it would be ready o n a Monday went in that Wednesday and they could not find the coat .they call back say found coat and its ready needless to say they gave us her coat back still dirty but had put it plastic like it was cleaned my daughter went back. To speak to them the lady agreed it was still dirty and they would get it done they did but this was just inexcusable this is winter time

Had a weighted blanket clean there like almost a year ago... go to put the weighted blanket back together and some of the strings are cut off... so I can't put the weighted blanket back together... not saying these ppl did it cuz I should of double checked a year ago..but they are the only ones to take my weighted blanket apart... There goes a $100 blanket

Please note, all three of our dry cleaning stores are open Monday to Saturday 8AM to 6PM during the weekend and until 2PM on Saturdays. The Google times listed so far are incorrect. We have repeatedly tried to have them corrected to no avail. Thank you. Ed Arzouian, Bates Troy Inc.
