We are a reseller of Indonesia's specialty clothing line called Batik. We resell Batik line to the United States area.
Founded by Daniel A. Siaputra, a Seattle University business undergraduate, has a dream of sharing Indonesian culture to the world. Being the fourth most populated country in the world, as well as one of the fastest growing country in the world, it seems that very few of the entire world knows about this country.
Thus this bold move.
Indonesian love their Batik products, that it has became the unofficial uniform of Indonesia. Why? Every Batik (clothes, scarfs, displays, etc.) design has a special tale behind it; for example each city has different distinct Batik designs, and there are reasons why each city designs that particular way. Batik is also a result of emotions, experience, and ingenuity of the artist who paints it, adding a slight mystery to the completed art.
Hence, Batik International hopes to bring this value to the international market.
The goal of Batik International is for people to experience a slight taste of Rich Indonesia. With Batik as our medium, we hope people could visually and physically flavor the treasue of Indonesia.
