This is the 2nd Batteries Plus that I’ve visited the other is on Cross st in Littleton. Both places have been a surprise. I needed batteries for Key Fobs for 3 different cars. The prices have been super reasonable and come with a lifetime replacement warranty for each vehicles keys. I definitely can replace a battery on my own… but some of these Fobs get a little quirky, and the headache factor is worth $20 to make go away in my case. They also cut keys with key fobs for older models like mine tonight.
Excellent customer service and they tried to solve a problem that may have been happening due to the installation of a new battery. Even though I came in right at closing, the sales associate still tried tonhelp even though it was time to close and lock up.
Update July 2023 9 months later: I have been in to the store to request my reimbursement check 2-3 times over the last nine months and each time the manager writes my information on a sticky note and says the check will be sent from corporate within a week or two. I've asked for a copy of the contract I signed for the repair each time via email or printed and have been told they don't have it. I am still waiting for any sort of resolution or reimbursement for the phone they destroyed. Update Jan 2023 3 months later: it's been 3 months and I still haven't received any reimbursement or correspondence from the company or the store. No phone, no compensation, just wasted time. Original review: I scheduled an appointment online to have the battery replaced on my pixel 5, which just had shortened battery life and was otherwise in perfect working condition. Drop-off went smoothly and the young tech mentioned he likes to take his time since Google phones are fragile and that I should come back in an hour. An hour later he called my wife's phone to inform us that my phone had been damaged beyond repair. The solutions offered were that they could order a replacement refurb of the same model which would take a week, or issue a check for what they would pay for that replacement $250 and give me a loaner phone for the interim. I explained that the trade-in value for my phone was $400 when I walked in that day which would be the appropriate value for compensation, because waiting for the replacement to arrive in order to receive that trade in value simply isn't an option as I have a new baby and manage much of my work on my phone. The technician mentioned his hands were tied and I would have to speak to his manager when she was back in a couple days. I went back in to pick up the loaner phone to find it required a sim card which my phone doesn't use and he was well aware of so I was SOL on any sort of solution that day. Given the circumstances I had no choice but to go buy a new phone and hope that they would be able to make the situation right. Yesterday I spoke to the manager and she also claimed she had no other option than the two that were already presented due to corporate policy which seems ludicrous. If I had avoided engaging with this business altogether I would still have a working phone that could have been traded in for $400 without any hassle, and no need to try to function without a phone for a week. This corporate policy requiring customers to shell out an extra $150 to make up for their insufficient valuation of a phone that they broke beyond repair is unacceptable. I recommend any future customers save their time and money and explore other options.
Please do not take your devices here for repair. A 425 dollar screen repair and after said "repair" you're now able to pry the corner of the back glass up and far off of your phone. They also managed to damage the GPS during the repair, just awful. Thats a skewer in the photo, not a toothpick.
Brie is a great help and a pleasant help when you need a need a new battery and it installed in your key fob!
The rep was extremely helpful and after checking out my car fobs was able to take care of my problem and saved me alot of money. I was very satisfied and always am when I go to Batteries Plus.
This place is a joke. My wife had her iPhone back glass replaced here and it lasted about a day before she noticed it broken again. Clearly a bad install because the vibration function was also having issues after the repair. They’re refusing to honor their warranty because it’s cracked. So now we’re out over $400 from these crooks.
Never realized that BPB did iPhone screen replacement. When searching on the internet their service came up. Best of all they were open on Sunday and we were able to schedule an appointment on line the night before. The service was great and the price was competitive to others in the area. Actually with the $10 credit if scheduled on line made BPB a little less expensive.
Great service. Olivia at the Lakewood, CO store installed two house batteries in my motorhome two 6 vt connected in series, and checked the engine battery 12 vt., which is fairly old, telling me it was still serviceable to my surprise. Integrity, excellent service, and pleasant to deal with...I could ask for nothing more. That store will get all of my future battery business. Mike
Absolutely amazing service!! Trevor was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with my many questions. He made the process quick and simple! I came in worried about my car battery, and he made sure I left with everything I needed. Even told me how many times I can turn my car on before I WILL need a new battery. Great prices!
