My advice to you is to stop looking for a place to replace batteries from wristwatches to cars. The price is very, very reasonable, the service is excellent. Today we are driving to the beach for a few days and the car battery is dead. Brought the AUDI here and 15 minutes later the battery is replaced by the owner who really knows his stuff. I know, right?! Only 15 minutes! I got more than I was expecting. Super friendly service, faster than I was hoping it would take for way less money than I was willing to pay. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and will continue to support this family owned and operated business. I hope the continue providing this service to our community for years to come.
The customer service by Gabe was unprecedented, he went above and beyond to help me install my battery. While getting me credit for my battery. Also just an overall nice guy, and very personable. This guy is hardworking! No l matter his career path he will get very far in life.
Had a very good experience, and I didn't even buy anything. My car needed a jump start from a completely dead battery. The service person suggested Batteries Plus Bulbs because they install the car battery. We got there, and a sales person worked through several scenarios before eventually concluding that he couldn't help me. He offered me a second jump which I didn't need, and he made sure we were on our way. If you need a car battery, this is the place to come.
And they did it again! We have a couch at home imported from Italy that has a built in battery that costs about 300 dollars to replace every couple of years depending on usage. Not under theses guys watch! I took both batteries to Battery Plus for advice. This time around Gabriel, who is super knowledgeable, guided me through the options and also advised me not to play around with the original battery cells as it could cause a fire. We managed to replace the whole thing for a better, safer option for a fraction of what I thought I had to pay for the original Italian sets. Instead about $600 for the two batteries, I end up paying only a little over 100 bucks for both replacement sets. Thank you so much for the patience and the usual friendly costumer service! The couch is working perfectly well, with better capacity for an unbeatable price. Support local’s businesses like this one. This store is a great asset to the community!
Three technicians attended to my battery installation. One seemed very experienced, the other two seemed less confident or knowledgeable. At the end of the installation, the experience technician left the job to go inside and asked one of the inexperienced technicians to finish securing the battery. I asked the technician to reattach the negative terminal shield on the terminal. She said she found it that way, which I said was not the case, since I watched her detach the shield or cap. I proceeded to reattach the shield and she asked what was my problem. I responded that I asked her to finish securing the battery. She walked away accusing me of starting a fight with her. I asked her to stay until I could verify that I could start my engine. She ignored me and re-entered the store. Fortunately, I could restart the car. I then closed the hood and left the parking lot. I found this exchange and end to the installation disappointing and unprofessional.
The staff at Batteries Plus in Rockville are super friendly. We ordered a new car battery online and had it installed in under 90 minutes. Fantastic.
I bought a car battery for my 2007 car using the website's program where you enter your car information and it shows you which batteries are compatible. It was on sale plus I was able to use a promotion. I chose to have the battery installed for free, and the appointments were for the next 4-5 days. After scheduling the installation, I realized I was going to be earlier than my appointment. I called and the person answered the phone quickly and was friendly and said it would be no problem if I arrived earlier. I arrived an hour early, and Steve installed my battery for me using a battery operated screwdriver. Steve was fun to talk to and did a real nice job. He used to be a roadie for Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Gene Simmons of Kiss and others. The store had a variety of batteries, including the coin ones; a battery tester; powerful and rechargeable flashlights; light bulbs; a universal garage door opener, and other gadgets. Really nice staff and experience!
Store was provided year make and model of my motorcycle. Was sold a battery that didn’t fit my bike. Purchased battery from Harley dealership and attempted to return the battery in original condition in box with receipt. Was told the store employee couldn’t process a return. Was told I could come back in a couple hours to return.
Needed a car battery. Reasonable, fair price. Was in and out in ... couldn't have been more than 12 minutes. One of the guys was very professional and efficient. The other two people, not so much.
Professional, efficient, and fairly priced. Shawn the owner was detailed in repairing my phone screen from start to finish. He took his time to thoroughly diagnose the phone, made me aware of potential software update issues, and completed the work promptly. I was in and out in less than an hour. Highly recommended!
