Description

Lord Cornwallis enters Charlottetown (September 26th, 1780 expecting little to no resistance but what he finds is a Hornet's Nest of Opposition! This event re-creates this time in Charlotte history with two battle reenactments throughout the weekend. One depicting the British entering Charlotte on Saturday and another depicting the British being routed out on Sunday. The battles are at 2 pm each day! There are also many different talks and demonstrations throughout the day...including Life in the British Army, Life in the Militia, Life in Charlottetown, British Occupied Charlottetown, Weapons, and much more. The greatest BBQ vendor attends (Appalachian Smoke), we have the best beer (OMB), and something for the sweet tooth (Anna Sweet Treats)!!! There is something for all ages...so don's miss The Battle of Charlottetown / Bees.
