Place is under renovation. Folks still enter the park. The walk down is steep. They have a few park bench at the entrance that folks can use for lunches. Recommended to visit the place during sunrise or sunset for best pics. Carry your own beach blankets and food stuff.
Great place for a walk, workout, hiking or just to take nice pictures. Love that there is a beach right there. If stairs aren't your thing-avoid because there lots of them.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
Really neat spot just off the road. Just have to walk down the Boardwalk, definitely needs to be fixed in spots so be careful walk down by the water and just a nice place to walk around and pick up seashells & different rocks. You do walk over some railroad tracks that are still being used so be careful.
Really loved the boardwalk and the water access. Some stairs need repairs, so be aware. Graffiti adds a certain atmospheric touch, whether that is good or bad remains to the viewer. Nice niche spot to go for an easy walk.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree
At first, we thought this was going to be a short walk0.8 miles round trip. The boardwalk descends downward, then travels along side the bluffs. We were able to leave the boardwalk and travel along a nice walking trail. Also, there were a few paths leading down to Pensacola Bay. We decided to walk along the beach. It was a cool day, but the views of the Pensacola Bay were worth it.
Beautiful place to walk! I would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't for the rampant graffiti. There is hardly a place on the whole boardwalk that wasn't covered in spray paint. It looks like it's been covered up multiple times, but to no avail. Still, a nice walk and a nicely upkept place. The graffiti served as a nice read while I was walking, I might admit. I would walk here again, but the graffiti means I could not walk here with smaller kids or anyone under 16. Great place for a workout though!
There is nothing more beautiful than being out in nature and the Bluffs is really really perfect. With different levels of stairs for you to climb and look over the Bay, it's tranquil and peaceful. And then all of a sudden here comes the train right along the waters edge. Bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it with your family, guaranteed to keep the kids entertained and wear them out! Picnic area: Table are strategically placed throughout the Bluffs..
Lovely little hidden treasure. We were actually just passing through and saw the walkway and we were not disappointed. It was quiet and beautiful. Even the graffiti added a little something to the experience.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitPrice for adult entryFree
It's a beautiful area with some great trails that lead down to the beach. However, there is so much vulgar graffiti on the wooden railing of the boardwalk that it dampens the experience. Also, some of the boardwalk and steps are apparently rotting and becoming "loose" to the point where it may soon become a safety hazard. Overall, it is sad to see a park that was probably at one point top notch but seems to have been abandoned by the city now.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! I would highly suggest people stop going past the gates that they put up to close it. The stairs are definitely not safe even if there’s pathways made around certain areas of the stairs I would definitely suggest stop going because you could hurt yourself it’s close down for a reason and maybe someday they will fix it and people can finally go back down.
