I have had some poor luck with the food being overly spicy for me, and took very long to make but they were very busy. I spoke to the owner who made every effort to fix the issue. If you go to sit down, the experience will be good, I have always had a good experience dining in. But, if you do take out, they could be very busy and might take a while. They do have excellent Indian food.

Every time I had gone here, I had attributed the poor service to it just being busy. I went there for lunch today and there were only 2 other tables. Our server did not come to take our orders until we had sat there for almost 10 minutes. Then when I ordered a few breads and asked for them to come out immediately, one of which was a cracker, we sat for another 15 minutes before our server came over claiming I had called for him... which I never had. At that point we got up and left. The server did nothing but stand there. Not even offer an apology. This was the final straw for me and I will never return. There are far better Indian restaurants was far far greater service

First time ordering from here. I got dessert - rasmalai and kheer. Both were excellent!!!
We ordered the the Chicken Andrah Curry, don’t go here without having it. It’s so flavorful, and just a robust blend of spices. Also, one of the best things on the menu is the Lamb Ghee Roast, don’t let it be an underrated dish here, it’s worth a special trip!
Literally the best Indian restaurants I’ve had in Baton Rouge! The foods are delicious and if you go there you must get a Mango Lassi forgot to take a photo of that and then have to try the lobster Masala super yummy! Even though the prices are little pricy but the service are very nice and the food and spices makes your tongue dance! I would definitely go there again when I have the chance!
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Baton Rouge area. Pretty spacious and nicely decorated restaurant with good music. The staff members are nice and helpful. We ordered mainly north Indian vegetarian dishes and they were spot on. The bengan Bharta was tangy and spicy as it should be. Malai kofta was great too. Chicken 65 was a bit disappointing as the batter was too soggy and the interior of the chicken lacked flavor. Definitely a bit pricey.
