Below review by Carmen Luna is bogus. This pool is private to the residents of our town and it shouldn’t get negative reviews because people from out of state couldn’t get in. Also, the lady seems like a complete Karen. Looking at her other reviews it seems like she’s all about bashing other companies because her unrealistic expectations couldn’t be met. Anyway - great pool, especially for kids. I gave it four stars because: 1. It could be cleaner! I see too much gunk in the water. 2. Bay hasn’t figured how to open it on Sunday’s yet which is unfair because that’s half the weekend!
It’s sad and embarrassing I’m from California and I thought I was a nice place to take my mom nice and son there my mom lives in North Olmsted wich we are not allowed to be there because we don’t live in that area shame on the system of this place in California we don’t do tht shame
Great for kids! Everything is very clean and refreshing
What a beautiful, well designed water park for family entertainment. I counted 7 life guards on duty at all times. Classy place and a great benefit for the bay village community.
Never been here, but really want to. I'm not a resident though. And I really really wish Bay Village would take a cue from neighboring towns and let us enjoy their pool for a fee. It's got a real haves and have-nots feel, huh? My town allows for non-residents to enjoy our pool for a small fee and I love my pool. I just want to be able to let my kids explore other nearby areas and it's so hard to explain why they are not allowed to go here. It just doesn't make sense.
Great layout and clean, they have pools for kids and adults alike. Diving boards, water slides, kiddy pool and more. Adults get a break every hour as kids are asked to exit the pool for a 15 minute break. They have a snack bar on-site. Unfortunately this pool is closed on Sundays, part of a grandfather clause that has been maintained for decades now. Kind of a bummer considering that summers are short and that parents who are off on Sundays are deprived of a day @ the pool with their children. Bay Village and its citizens should look into reversing that old rule. That's why it gets 4 stars.
There are many different sections of pools to enjoy. We liked the baby pool for our son, and we enjoyed swimming laps during rest period. The water slide is really fun, too!
Pool shuts down at the drop of a hat for weather, low attendance, and events. I understand public safety but the pool closed tonight and even the lifeguards were disputing there was no thunder! This is the last year we are buying a season pass. This pool does everything possible to close. Furthermore, it is not open on Sundays because of a hundred year old trust that holds the land hostage. I suggest you make friends with people in Westlake or Avon and use their community pool.
Listed as a public pool in cleveland and are not a public pool in cleveland. Very unsanitary. Extremely rude front desk. You have to be a bay resident. This would not be as much of an issue if it was correct online. It was 101 today and dissipointed my childern and i was treated so unfairly at a public pool.
The swim lessons program has always been disorganized and disappointing. We have been trying to make it work for years. My 5 and 8 year old have been at AL pool the past year for lessons and it was like a well oiled machine. Bays life guards run the program and never seem to know what is going on with the kids and the groups. Recently my 8 year old was put in my 5 yrs olds class.....not good.
