I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because this review is so personal!!! David Jack and Bayer as a whole I appreciate y’all so much. Moved near this small town from Chicago 6yrs ago and came across this credit union while working at AAA processing titles for the DMV. So many customers would come in with loans and titles from Bayer FCU that it made me intrigued to find out who Bayer Credit Union was. The time had come for my husband and I to purchase a second vehicle and I already knew where I was going, Bayer Federal Credit Union lol. My husband and I have been with them ever since. We’ve even moved to another city and still utilize Bayer. 4 cars in with them and I wouldn’t look anywhere else. Bayer has been there for my family through our highs and lows. David Jack is absolutely amazing and he really do feel like family to us. Thank you guys for always being so pleasant to my family, for always being there through each and every hiccup that we’ve endured, and never judging us. Best credit union that we’ve endured thus far!

They offer secured credit cards to start a relationship with them that mature to an unsecured card for those with newer credit profiles, which I took. Took advantage of the Santa helper loan with not so good credit and got approved for the 0% interest. Had three NSF fees removed and will be getting an auto loan here soon with them. They are honest and will help you when others look away.

Not sorry to put a one it's because they dont have good customer service I've called 30 times today and Jack wouldn't pick up if they really want people to go through them then they need to learn how to answer the phone

This bank will steal your money. They claimed their systems were "updated" in October of 2021. This "update" locked both me and my husband out of our accounts. We tried to preregister which didnt work. We continued to pay on our loans by going into the bank and thought the money was being put towards the loan sin December we were not able to pay on the loans and called and explained the situation. They said they would work with us and in January they called to let us know the loans were 30 days behind. We were attempting to find work and didnt get a job till mid January. They then told us the end of January that we were over 80 days behind on payments and that they put a repo on the vehicle and tractor. We explained that we had made payments and they are claiming we havent paid since September. I continued to try to sort this and was told the second week of February that they would put a hold on the repo and I could pay the loan current on the 28th but they were still trying to charge me a repo fee when the vehicle wasnt reported. They were supposed to be investigating how much I actually owed because I had paid October and November. The following week they had reported my only vehicle which at this point I was done with their lies and them taking advantage of me and I realised they were not going to investigate anything. My husband has banked with them since 2010 and neither of us can wait to get completely away from them. We called them after the repo and they told us if we paid before the repo then we wouldnt have had to pay the repo fee but yet we were told that we would. They also never looked into the matter of missing payments that were made so I told them to keep the vehicle cus I'm not paying more than what I actually owe. They scam people and prey on those who are in hard times cus they know you cant afford anattorney and court. They also stopped sending me statements in never recieved a statement for December, January, or February. However they did screw up and send my husbands tractor statement for January and it shows he was only behind the month of December but right now they are saying he didnt pay October or November. My car was always paid before the tractor as well.

Crystal was very helpful with getting my process started then dealt with Amanda Thomas for the details of my loan and the process went great, both very friendly and answered any questions I may have had, they made my process VERY easy, highly recommended and will be returning for anything in the future!

I Sold my home and the buyers went through Bayer.. Long story short it was a nightmare for them and I. I wouldn’t recommend getting a loan or using any of their services they have for anything. The buyers were very disgusted on how they was treated from their loan officer Patti in the New Martinsville office. And Tina in the proctor office made a few mistakes at closing very embarrassing moment. When dealing with money mistakes are frowned on. Everyone seems to be very unorganized and very unprofessional on how they handle things. If ANYONE is looking for a LOAN to BUY a HOUSE or CAR I wouldn’t come to Bayer I’d go somewhere else. If ANYONE is selling something and a BUYER wants to use BAYER id encourage them to go ANYWHERE BUT BAYER FOR A SMOOTHER EXPERIENCE .

Absolutely Great Experience! These guys gave me an unbelievable great rate! 4 year used car loan at just 2.24%!!!! Nobody even comes close! Got the loan approved and transaction completed in the same day. David was very friendly and very helpful. What I really appreciated about this place, was they didn't act like they were doing me "a favor"! They really appreciated my business. Definitely will be seeing them on my next loan. Fast service best Credit union second to none.

The first loan I had was great. The second loan they gave me has been an absolute nightmare. They made a mistake on my payments. They admitted to it. Even noted the account, and would not eat there mistake. It put my in a financial hole. By the time I caught on to it I was $1200 behind on loan plus late fee's. It's been 18 months. I have done what I could to catch up. But losing my coal mine job, and the job I was currently working at this time syarted cutting hours I got even furher behind.They made little to no help. They always blamed me, then when I showed them what happened they would argue, well the computer this and the computer that. Computers make mistakes as well. The account was noted by a manager who had be there a decade plus. She said she has never seen anything like this. Again admitting fault. All they did to help was had me file for instrest only. Was approved for one. Considering I only had it for less than 4 months at the time. You hsve to to 6 months before they can approve it. Now the truck has been turned into a Repo. They Repo company didn't even let me get my son's stuff out or mine. I had meds that I need for a illness I suffer from and can't go without. My son's only pair of shoes where in there laong with all his supplies for the week. His diaper bag and everything. Not sure what kinda company they say there are, but back in my time you made a mistake you did what was right to fix it, even if you had to eat it. The worse part they don't even know where the truck is at this point. One of my family members seen it heading north on rt 7 in ohio. The number Bayer gave me ofcourse doesn't work. I would say I won't see my stuff again. Thanks Bayer for being the worse bank I have ever been to. People read over your paper work. And check your account everyday twice a day. I missed one little thing and now my truck is gone.
