Bayliss Park Hall

Had my wedding there. The cost was fine. But, the guy that runs the place was kind of rude and lurked around the wedding the whole time. I even had guests mention how weird it was that he was right there for the entire thing. He also snuck food without asking. My spouse caught him sneaking away with a big plate of food. It is also not a kid friendly place. I know it is a historic building, but he took it upon himself to yell at the kids rather than talking to the parents first. I wouldn't recommend that venue if you have kids coming.

Beautiful venue. Tough load for caterers, bar, dj. Cant disabled upstairs easily; no elevator.

It is a beautiful building and very clean. The staff was awful sitting in the corner of the room and watched the entire wedding, and took food from the reception line. Also was very rude when getting the chaffers setup. We had told him we knew how to do it my husband has been in resturant business for 30 years. He was treated as a child and new nothing. If you need to be watched and treated like a child this is the place. If you are an adult and do what you are supposed to I would recommend going else where.

I was asked by a wedding party to assist with their wedding and reception and I could not be more disappointed in the management/staff at this venue. From set up to tear down, we had multiple issues with the staff. Not a kid friendly environment. Would not recommend to any friends or family in the area looking for a wedding venue.

It was a wonderful Wedding of my nephew and his bride to be now wife.

Many people have wedding and parties here to me it's old victorian but some people like that style I'm more updated rustic

Since I didn't know what to expect - I can say this venue did well. I didn't feel like I was asking stupid questions, just asking things since it was not clarified in the paperwork. It is just a couple who run the place and I imagine they have other jobs, so organization and time spent with you or your coordinator is not top of the list. However, if you are looking for a venue where you literally have to bring everything with you, including booze and food, this is the place for you. Just know it is on the 2nd floor and you have to haul everything up the stairsand back down. For the price you pay you get the venue, chairs and tables. They do offer some decorations that are in good shape. The building is old which adds to the charm. Really only a few negatives I can add here, the security guard should have introduced himself - I could not for the life of me figure out who he was at first. Second, there is some mold showing through the ceiling that needs to be repaired. Parking is weird even if you don't have to plug the meters.

Nice place not enough restrooms but it was clean great place for wedding

This is a neat old building, and would be great for small to large gatherings. We went to wedding, and there was plenty of room!
