I went to see cardiologist on Feb.23, in the Terrell office .Dr faxed my records to Pain Mgmt In Greenville. I called every Monday untill April 10. Only to find out that my records were faxed to another pain clinic,, in Dallas , multiple times. I even attended other appointments since at same cardiologist , no one knew anything. Dr. Searching again..
Nurse Jami Bryan is WONDERFUL. Love this practice; they are friendly, efficient and easy to schedule.
I have never been more disappointed in a doctor's office. My dad has been under the care of this facility both for Cardiology and for general medicine, while the cardiologist is okay the staff and medical team from the family medicine side are awful, incompetent, and uncaring. My father has had declining health for years and I've always been told that when it was time for hospice they would be there for him. Well after trying to get him seen on Monday for the referral and being told that it just wasn't possible we patiently wait for Wednesday. On Wednesday his doctor at first tries to suggest other options like it's not obvious to look at my dad and see he needs the referral, she just basically disregarded all of my information like I'm not the one who is with my father all the time so what do I know about health. Finally after reading his notes from the cardiologist, who recommend s hospice she agreed to send a referral. By Thursday the referral still wasn't done and my dad suffered complications and had to be hospitalized which was what both he and I wanted to avoid. I was sitting in the er with him intubated when I received a call saying the referral still wasn't done. I would have been more understanding, maybe, if the hospital wasn't able to get a referral done and to hospice within twenty minutes of talking with them. I greatly appreciate the care and consideration of the people at Baylor Dallas but I wouldn't recommend this practice to my own worst enemy.
The staff, nurses and doctors employed at this establishment are fantastic. Very professional but also personable and caring. Nurse practitioners, Kerri and Tanya are very competent as is Dr. Lance. Becky at the front desk is also awesome...there are a couple other ladies that stick out in my mind but I can’t remember their names! I am thankful to be a patient here and that they don’t brush off health concerns but take the time and effort to figure out what is wrong. So often people are intentional about reviewing practices when they are dissatisfied and that can be discouraging and disheartening. But for every complaint, I am sure there is a generous handful of people happy and I am one of them.
I had an 8:30 am appointment that I was required to fast for. The receptionist called me at 7:45 to cancel my appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance. Stating that the Dr that was supposed to see me called in sick. I understand Dr are humans too, however I have patients that I treat daily as well and if I'm out sick or whatever reason, I have to find someone to cover my patients. It would have been more professional to get another Dr to cover patients instead of cancelling at the last minute. But she stated that there were no other Drs available. And then the next available appointment is another 2.5 weeks away. So I'm thinking that the Dr that was to see me is not going to try to see the patients she missed any earlier. Unprofessional.
I have been a patient here for twenty years and have alwats been treated well by everyone here. Dr. Barnes, in particular, is a caring doctor and has a very polite nature to him. He has gone far beyond normal doctor duties in helping me many times. I am thankful for him and all his associates.
I have changed my review of this care facility; I have never met Heidi or Dr. Risinger always saw the P.A. which was very good but it is obvious they are concerned about the well being of their patients. I was personally reached out to and rescheduled. A very classy move in today's lack of personal touch medicine. I am grateful and looking forward to meeting Dr. Risinger today.
Just moved here from NC and was extremely impressed withe friendliness of the staff. Loved the time spent as a new patient with Dr. Lance. She is top-notch and so thorough!!!! Love the staff in the lab. They are a great fit for me!!!!
Didn't like the way the Front Desk treated me. When they were helping someone before, and that person was having trouble find their insurance card, they were told to take their time. But when I couldn't find my card, I was told to have a seat and call someone, than I hear they lady call someone whom she know over so she could help them. It was obvious that the desk wanted to help someone they knew, and to get me out of the way. Than after she was done with the lady, she just forgot about me completely. I have gone to this place every since Baylor open, and just love my physician. But not happy with the front desk at ALLLLLLL.
I've been a patient of Dr. Barnes for years. I'm a "go to the doctor when I need to" person. Yesterday, I called to make an appointment and was told that since it had been 3 years since my last visit that they "would see if they could accept me back as a patient if I agreed to have a physical every year." They called back later to tell me they "could not accept me back as a patient at this time." Basically, I felt they were saying" since we don't get to bill your insurance every year, we don't want you here or care about your health."
