Baymont By Wyndham Ferndale/Royal Oak Twp

This hotel is nasty. My towels, pillows, and bedding were all stained. I itch when I lay down in the bed. I haven’t touched the couch because I’m scared of what might be there. The walls are stained, the bed is stained. The only reason why this hotel isn’t getting its well deserved one star is because of a rockstar employee Beatrice. She was able to match the daily rate and accommodate all of my needs and she was just a delight. I would never come back here ever but it’s a place to sleep and I haven’t visibly seen any roaches or bed bugs but I’ve been looking for them. If you want a decent stay? Look elsewhere but it is somewhere to sleep for dirt cheap.

Do not go to the Baymont Hotel in Ferndale. They was not clean. The sheets was not clean. The hotel was nasty have bugs. They need to be shut down the management didn’t do anything about it. My friend came from Birmingham Alabama for a funeral was not comfortable could not sleep the Better Business Bureau show me investigating this hotel needs to shut this hotel down the sheets wasn’t clean at all. Need to give her her money back. And wants to charge a $25 fee. This hotel needs to be shut down. This is ridiculous for somebody to come out from out of town to have experience like that in a hotel a hotel supposed to be sanitize for a customer to enjoy the experience in the hotel not nastiness I will never come to this hotel ever again.

No fridge or microwave in room. There is a tub but you can't use it because there is no stopper. Even though you have a choice at check-in of a $25 incedental fee, which they keep, or a $100 fee which you get back upon check out, you have to wait until 11:00 a.m. to get your money back. You can't just leave early like you might have to be at work. It's not a place I would recommend even if you got 25 bucks to throw away. Oh, yeah, No breakfast. Not even a donut. Most Baymont hotels serve breakfast. Not this one. 6 vending machines with a sign that states: USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! At least this door closes completely.

Tried to call 8 times, each time it disconnected, I go in person to find out if they have a room and truck parking. Once the young man came out from the restroom he didn't know about anything. He was positive that checking in was not before 3pm. Did not know what an EFS company check was , didn't know if they accepted that. Wasn't going to bother to find out. I told him that he would have saved me a lot of time if he would have talked to me on the phone instead of just hanging up every time I called! He was shocked that I knew what he was doing. Oh and the manager is out today so he is simply collecting a paycheck and not even doing his job. And he doesn't have to worry about ever signing me to a room

This isn't exaggerated. There is no refund and there is a "temporary fee" of $800 or non refundable $25 fee and they called it the "convenience fee" of which I asked what it was for they refused to say. The room immediately stunk of cigarettes and weed. You can hear people from outside and far down the hall, it feels like there isn't any privacy. I couldn't even stay the night there and I'm not a picky person. Noteworthy details: Nothing positive.

Its a zero star but wont let me put it. In pictures on internet place looks descent WRONG!!! Those were misleading the place was nasty as soon as you walk into lobby it smelled like pot got keys walked in room to find it was dirty stained carpet and lamp shades a hole in wall cigarette ashes on table spose to been a non smoking room also smelled bad like cigarette smoke. Walked right back out gave back keys demanded my money back was given a number for the manager to call Monday still waiting for a call back and my money.

This place is horrible. Nasty dirty and loud. It’s whole family staying here. Kids running through the hallway. Trash on the elevator. Very back urine smell on the stairs. Thought I was getting a Baymont hotel and got a HOmont hotel.Rooms: 1/5

It’s been a nightmare for the past 45 minutes all I’ve heard is slamming doors and loud talking. And the hidden fees that you don’t know about until check in my $65.00 stay tuned into $92.00 and I’m only staying one night. Not worth the hassle or the lack of sleep you won’t be getting here.

The doors to the entrance that usually slide open don’t slide open you have to pull it open with your hand. It was alot of men sitting in the lobby drinking beer at 9:30pm-10:00pm the hotel have trashy vibes soon as we walked up. I’ve been to Baymont hotels all the time but never at this location was at first time visit and very much not RECOMMEND you to stay! No fridge or microwave in room also or any necessities.

They tried to make me pay a 100 dollar deposit at check in after I already paid online. But told me I had to wait from Friday until Monday to get a refund and it had to be in cash.... so I had to come back to get MY MONEY.... STAIRWAY STANK!!!! LIKE WET MOLDY CARPET. AND MUCH MORERooms: 3/5
