The manager is absolutely useless; She quoted bank policies that did not exist and failed to justify not accepting a deposit. The bank staff was completely rude and worthless. This branch should is the worse bbva I have ever visited. If you as a branch manager or staff sites a policy, you shall be able to guide the customer to such "policy" you can't just tell a customer it is a "policy." I can believe that saying this like that is an acceptable practice. This is a management failure. I will make sure to report this to the BBB.
This is a horrible bank with very bad customer service. Had fraud on one card then they supposedly sent me another card but it never got to me and it was compromised. They allowed someone to verify my information to use my card that I never received in the mail. This new card was never shown on my online account. I called the fraud department and I was bounced from department to department and no one knew what to do.  I have been going back and forth with this company for months. I should have known when their website was not user friendly and had a hard time paying your bill online that it was a major red flag. How can this bank still be in business with customer service this bad? I take for granted excellent customer service that places like Discover and American Express has until you encounter a bank like BVAA.  Very rude and I had one even hang up on me. Welcome to the jungle. Use them at your own risk. You have been warned by me and there are several reviews that will tell you the same thing.. Should have read reviews prior to applying but honestly never though a company can be so bad. I am sure there are individuals that work there that are good people but that company as a whole is simply rotten.
Don't trust these people. If your trying to get a home loan you would have more success with the mafia or a loan shark. The management doesn't care about anything. They will leave you homeless while you're waiting to hear back from them. Even the employees can't get the management to call them back regarding your loan. They are a FOREIGN bank screwing the American people.
Horrible customer service. I called this bank to say I was coming to open an account and was told I needed to arrive before 5 pm I was not impressed by the phone eddicate btw, but I ignored this red flag I proceeded to drive an hour to the bank. When I arrived at 440 I was told to take a seat. They were expecting me. Looking around I was the only customer in the bank. I waited for Michelle to finish socializing before calling me into her office. She then informed me that because it was so close to 5 she wouldn't be able to help me open a business account. I informed her that I called ahead and said I'd make it before 5 and was told it was ok. Also I drove an hour based upon that information. She then questioned my decision to use their bank since I was so far away. I said I'd be moving to the area and my business is here. She continued to try to convince me to use another bank with more locations. I was quite surprised and irritated that I was hearing this. She kept repeating that it was too close to five and giving me this patronizing 'get out of my office' smile. Perhaps she wanted to go home or perhaps she looked at me and thought I wasn't worth the effort. Who knows. It definitely wasn't because of "insurance reasons"as I've been in banks past 5 before. I just up stood up, walked out and told Karen who answered the phone that she should have told me before I drove an hour that I had to be finished by 5, not just arrive by 5. I interrupted her in the middle of her excuses to tell her that a simple apology would suffice. WOW. Never had such a poor customer service experience at a bank. I've had accounts in all major institutions for 5 different businesses. I've had banks fight over my business. This bank has been around for some time but it's no wonder why it hasn't taken off. I don't recommend anyone use this bank. Really, their own employee Michelle didn't even recommend it. I should have listened to the other bad reviews in Google.
I was there this morning my representative was Sophia strong she was adorable she was professional she was very nice and atentative she explain to me all the answers and questionsI was really happy with her service she really deserve 10 10

DO NOT do business with this bank or apply for any loans. They are not professional and have no clue how to solve any issues. This is coming from somebody that owns their own business and has over 740 credit score. I currently bank with Suntrust, Bank of America and multiple other Credit Unions. I was referred to BBVA Compass through a third party lender and ended up getting ripped off through Compass Bank. If you have any issues or fraudulent charges on your credit card they work against you, not with you like how other banks do. I repeat DO NOT bank with BBVA Compass!! I have also reported this bank to the BBC.
This bank has been very helpful and courteous whenever I have gone in to do my banking. They know my Name. It is very refreshing going into a bank and seeing the same people there.
Why, why, why BBVA, do you make it absolutely, unreasonably hard to make payment online or over the phone?! You only take Visa or checks? What is this 1983? Extremely frustrating the hoops one has to jump through to make a payment.
Not good. No flexibility and most people who work for bbva have no answers. Don’t even bother calling the customer service phone. Useless, absolutely, useless. Horrible experience since opening the account 6 months ago.
