The Be Healthy! Sierra Vista Health Advisory Committee (HAC) is a collaborative group that will lead, promote and advance sustainable health initiatives through the development of strategies and objectives that address identified health priorities. Members of this health committee serve together in the roll of prevention, quality care insurance, policy development and community engagement.
Members respond to challenges in the Sierra Vista region by involving the community through various levels of engagement (facilitation, communication and integration), with the overall goal of setting a frame work for different levels of community engagement. The Health Advisory Committee will also serve as a liaison for communication with county health organizations, local leadership and the general public. Members from various community sectors and specialties are represented on the committee: City of Sierra Vista, healthcare, education, faith base, business, public safety, non-profit, behavioral health, Fort Huachuca and Cochise Health and Social Services.
Educate, advocate and collaborate as community partners to strengthen community health and wellness.
