Beach Bum Tanning Lodi

I have been here before and they have always done a good job. This time Dominica did my spray tan and it came out beautifully. I even went out afterward to dance and it stayed in tack perfectly. She was sweet and patient while answering all of my questions. 5/5. I will be going here again and specifically to Dominica.

Highly disappointed with this facility. I came here on 03/09/2023. This was my first spray tan ever, so I was very excited. My friend was also getting a spray tan with me, and it was her first time as well. Everything went smoothly at first and I asked the girl who was helping me what color she would recommend for my skin tone since my friend and I are both very pale. She recommended a medium color and I agreed and said I would like to do medium. Everything went good, I paid, and she directed me to the room. She was very informative when I got inside the room since I was unsure of what to do since I got the versa spa pro sprat tan. After she left I got in and proceeded tanning. However, when I got out I seemed to not be very tan, even though I got the option that it would show right away. I went back to the front to wait for my friend to get the same spray tan as me. As she was about to pay for her spray tan, another girl was helping her out. My friend said she wanted medium like I had gotten, but her price was higher than what I paid. When asking why, the girl that was helping her out informed us that the color that was requested for me was light. which is not what I had informed the girl I wanted. The girl went to talk to the person who helped me out and said they would figure it out. So I wait for my friend to finish up her spray tan and I talk to the girl who helped me and asked her what will happen. She became visibly annoyed and said yes it was her mistake and she will contact her manager to get this fixed, and she was certain it would get fixed. She was unclear about this however and I sat down and waited, thinking I would get it the same day. At the end she looked at me confused and said I can go that she or her manager will give me a call in a few days. I have been waiting for a call that I have yet to receive. Though she was helpful at first, it seems as if she has not called her manager. I regret now that I did not get their names when I had a chance as I would have called and spoken to the manager myself. As a worker myself in the customer service industry, I understand more than anyone that mistakes get made and it is okay. However, I have been waiting for days and have not received a call from anyone about the mistake that was made. At the end of the day, I spent my money on a service that I did not request, and I was told something would be done about this. As a customer, I am highly unsatisfied with the services that were performed for me at this location, and I don't think I will ever give this place a second chance as they seem not to care too much about satisfying their customers. UPDATE: Manager reached out to me and was very courteous about the whole situation. Manager reassured me about the courtesy on my account and that and assured me it will not happen again. The best tanning salon around. The entire staff is so friendly and professional. They greet everyone and know everyone’s name. We are so lucky to have such an amazing place to get great service snd a great tan!!!Services: Tanning

Staff was very unprofessional, especially Amanda. My daughter and I chose this place for tanning only to be laughed at and giggled at during our session. When I asked if there was something wrong, they responded no and continued to laugh. Very rude, unprofessional, and impolite. I don't recommend this tanning place to anyone.Service: Tanning

I’ve gone to Beach Bum for almost 20 years and they do an incredible job for airbrush tanning. The girl that originally was going to do my tan was a little uncomfortable with my request because I asked for three thin layers but whoever her shift manager was was more experienced. I think she did a great job on the Spray Tan I think that they are very accommodating and sweet and I think that they are not tipped enough for the incredible service that they do so I always give them 20 bucks. I’ve never gone to any beach bum and had a bad experience.

I had arrived a little late to my appointment but called ahead to ask if I could still be seen. I spoke with Tony, he was so polite and kind. My spray tan experience was very comfortable, even though I can be self-conscious. Everyone made me feel welcome and comfortable. Would recommend this location. Not to mention, the tan looks very natural. Thank you!!

The place is immaculate and staff is beyond friendly and professional! They are always very helpful and accommodating. Once I forgot my rings there and when I came back my rings were waiting for me in a sealed envelope. And not to mention, the whole same staff has been working there for years, which is pretty incredible and speaks for itself! Amazing job!
