A very cozy, clean bi-level gift shop! The inventory is up to date, vast and economically priced. I saw beautiful clothing, as well as, candy including local taffy!!!!!, shoes, knick knacks etc...! The customer service was cheerful.. I'm still going to remember this little shop for years!!
HORRIBLE! The old lady in there is so rude and yelled at my daughter for sitting down bc she was lightheaded bc she was over heated… I had over $150 worth of stuff about to purchase i layed it all down and walked out. She was yelling at me for not buying anything after the incident! STAY AWAY!!! Much better customer service across the street!
Friendly and helpful staff. Cheaper goods compared to salted dog close by. You can always find something fun to buy here!
I just went today to the store . My experience was horrible ,I went to the store to buy some family gifts, since it was the first store that I saw I went inside to see what I could buy but I was like I better go watch the other stores and then if I don’t find anything better I’ll just come back . Since I did that it looks like the old lady working in there thought we were suspicious or trying to steal ,she treated me with a really bad attitude, at first I asked her how much was a key chain and she answer me being super rude . When I went to others stores I found some key chain but I liked the ones that the old lady had and I went back to buy it . When me and my boyfriend were paying she was packing a crystal piece that we got , when she was putting it in the bag I grabbed a piece that was packed thinking that it was mine and she grabbed my hand and I was like sorry? She answer me that’s not your I was like that’s my boyfriends,she’s like not that’s another persons package and I was like I’m sorry I thought it was mine but she didn’t even say sorry for being so rude and trying to make me look like I was stealing .Shes a really rude person I would not recommend going to this store there’s more stores around ,less expensive and the customer service is great .
DO NOT SHOP HERE. Beyond TERRIBLE experience here. Service was awful. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Old Lady with dark hair at the desk was extremely rude and hateful. She also had an employee follow our family through the ENTIRE store, judging that us, as tourists, might steal. Not even from a friendly distance, basically ran us through the whole store. Her justification was, “The people who tend to steal the most are young girls.” Literally said that right to us, as there were two girls in the group, both over 18. Also was interested in purchasing a lighter, but as soon as you pick one up you get yelled at. Go anywhere but here. I would rate less than one star if I could. Completely ruined our beach day. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the hassle. Will never come back.
My family comes to Beach Express every year because we love the selection of shirts and hoodies. I find something I love every single time and even better, Mrs Patty and Mrs Beverly are so helpful and the absolute sweetest! We have been coming every year for the past 5 and we will definitely be back next year!
I wish I could give less than 1 star. No refunds. It’s not obvious when you walk in but god forbid you have changed your mind on a product. Never used and tried to take back the next day. No refunds. Do not not not spend your money here.
I would not reccomend coming here. My sister and I came here with our two kids. And we're followed around like we were going to steal. Everywhere we walked there was a guy right on top of us. We then proceeded to go to the check out line we were there for 15 mins and didn't even move. We asked if we could pay in cash and just leave because our children were getting antsy and they just allowed another customer to do so we were then told to leave the store and to never bring our children back. Worst experience I have ever had. I will not be coming back here.
If you are not white. Do not shop or park here. Terrible customer service. I asked how much parking was and could not hear her. I kept repeating "15 or 50." She proceeds to tell me, " you need to take English classes." This establishment can go bankrupt for all i care.
I stopped to see the beach and paid $10 to park. A lady approached me accusing me of throwing trash in the parking lot and threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. I told her i was sorry but she was mistaken but she called me a liar saying I was on video. I went inside to kindly let them know they were mistaken only to be called a liar again. I was embarrassed and insulted! They are extremely rude. I do not recommend shopping or parking at the Beach Express at Daytona Beach. What a rip off and such a disappointment :
