As a condo owner nearby, I love the location of Beach House at Deer Lake. The server was friendly and helpful. When I ask about fish, I always want to know where it is sourced from. The waiter went and asked for me. I appreciate that. And the chef knows how to cook it correctly. Another plus. Fresh Walleye doesn't get any better. The accoutrements with the fish were a medley of squash lightly steamed. Very delicious. And my friend has some farro with a vegetable relish. Also, tastefully prepared and yummy. We sat outside and can see Deer Lake and sunsets, here, are stunning. Great ambience. And in Thursday evening, Steve August tinkles the ivories with an eclectic array of virtuosity spanning the composers of France: Debussy to America, with jazz.
As a photographer, I must say that the grounds of this restaurant are extremely photogenic! The lawn overlooking the water, the green ivy on the buildings, and all the well manicured nooks to shoot in. The couple I photographed did an intimate ceremony on on the lawn then finished with dinner at the restaurant.
Horrible place, awful food for ridiculous prices. Rooms were disgusting. I made my reservations 4 months in advance. I booked a king-size bed, ended up with 2 queens, had asked for the top floor when making reservations, and got the 1st floor. And the clock tower is 2 floors, not sure how they call it a tower NOT wheelchair friendly
We went to the morel dinner and wine pairing at the Beach house. $95.00 per person. The food was excellent, execution very poor. food was ice cold at both early and late seatings. You cannot charge this amount for cold food. Complaints were overwhelming. Something here has to change. I have been at weddings with many more people and food was hot. No excuse for cold food. , not for this price!! I would have rather have waited an hour and enjoyed my wine versus rushing to get all the food out at once and having it cold. I know this event could be better. Very disappointed and I’m not the only one. !! Cold food complaints were everywhere. Even at the bar when we walked in. This is inexcusable !! Family went to visit during the 4th of July holiday and ordered some food to go to eat on the lake and enjoy the views. The food was delicious and portions were good. If you are in this neck of the woods, I'd highly recommend dining here.Food: 5/5
Beach House was awesome! We enjoyed an outside patio lunch with delicious food, fabulous view and great service! We enjoyed the beach while there on two separate times.Food: 5/5
The service was awesome, and the building with the view of the lake was beautiful. However, someone needs to teach the kitchen how to season and prepare meals. Not worth the money at all.Food: 1/5
Excellent Wagyu beef burger and Walleye. Our server was knowledgeable of their menu and gave good information. We sat outside, which is lale frontage, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Overall the food was great but very pricy.
This was our “Margherita Flatbread”… I can’t make this up. My rating would be 0 if that was possible on the rating scale. It was $16 for cold pita, mozzarella balls, and cherry tomatoes. What a joke.
Amazing service, great food, view of lake is beautiful. Setting can't be beat.Recommended dishesWalleye
