We just returned from our stay in Eastham at the Beach Plum Motor Lodge. We will definitely be returning! This was our first time in Cape Cod and Gloria was a delightful hostess. She asked what we liked to do, where we would want to go, what kind of restaurants we liked. She made fantastic recommendations! Over breakfast we discussed what we did last night, what our plans were for the day. She asked if we have been on a whale watch no, we had never been, really wanted to go and were having trouble deciding which tour to take she recommended a place, then kindly made reservations for us! We had a fantastic time and this was all due to her kindness. The beds are very comfortable and you actually get many pillows! We stayed at a motel between NY and Mass. the night before where the mattress was as hard as a rock and we each had one thin pillow we had to fold in half to support our heads. The rooms are small but not cramped. I woke up well rested to birds chirping, a nice cool room.
Had the best stay here! Excellent location, adorable private rooms with private bathrooms! And delicious homemade breakfast each morning! The owner is incredibly caring and takes such great care of the property. Everything is clean and well kept. And the owner makes you feel like family! We will be sure to stay here again, if not for the delicious food, comfortable rooms, delightful pool, but the big hugs from Gloria! Highly, highly recommend Beach Plum!
Let me start by saying the lodge was very beautiful, the pool was great and the area is surrounded by many breathe taking beaches and lovely scenic areas. Unfortunately the stay was not as I would hope it would have been. My main complaint would be that the free breakfast was hardly even a breakfast. We were served burnt toast and a large piece lemon cake. Also the rooms are too tiny for three people to move around in let alone stay a night. The doors are also hard to close and are very loud. It was rather a most uncomfortable stay. Also it felt as though my friends and i were being watched the entire by the owner of the B&b. Also there are no fridges, A/C, or microwaves not a complaint just an FYI.
If you are looking for a place that is relatively inexpensive with a friendly host, this is a great place. The rooms are somewhat old fashioned, but they are comfortable. The location is great if you want to explore up and down Cape Cod.
If you want luxury, definitely stay away. If you want to go back in time, no TV or air conditioner but very friendly people and a delicious breakfast with conversation, this is your place. Nice pool.
This was a quaint room with a warm host. Wish we could have stayed for breakfast-it smelled so good as she was baking it the night before when we checked in. Very charming feature!
Hotel was unwilling to Change or Cancel our Reservation without a fee. A company should never treat guests/customers like this. No empathy for our circumstance. I will take my business elsewhere!
Very quaint, no TV but perfect for disconnecting.
Friendly service by the owner, nice and clean. Close to everything at the Cod
