No complaints, really - but I couldn't get too excited about it either. The club is located in a strip mall on the edge of town. I say that because - well, it felt like poker club in a strip mall on the edge of town. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and we'll likely be back. But not soon.
No...stuffy uptight atmosphere. Chairs have no arms and are uncomfortable. The lights are bright to the point of feeling like you are on display at all times. Don't like the 10 handed tables. When playing poker I like a more relaxed atmosphere where I can be comfortable. Yes they have a fish tank...but it does nothing at all to make you feel at home.
Beach Poker Club is definitely the best poker club I have been in so far. You are greeted with a smile by players and employees. The room is bright and welcoming. Played in their tournament and cash game. In the morning they had coffee and donuts available, and during the tournament, they feed us lunch. The regular players are all friends, but I never felt like an outsider. I can't wait to get back soon. Atmosphere - 5 Stars Friendliness - 5 Stars Game structure - 5 Stars Cash Game Action - 5 Stars Security parking lot/location - 4 Stars No issues, but a large number of people down on their luck where sleeping in the parking lot. Overall 5 Stars

Kudos to Dave and staff on their reopening which adheres to all local and state protocols. Current circumstances provide those who vehemently oppose poker clubs the perfect opportunity to close them down. All it takes is a single in your face violation of a single "phase" protocol reported to a city council member to get the ball rolling. I urge players to patronize clubs following the phasing in stages only and discourage playing at any venues that fail to do so. My experience today at Beach today was intimidating to start but I quickly adapted to the situation and admired Dave's table conversation regarding the importance of "doing the right thing" to ensure the longevity of poker in Eugene.
Beach Poker Club is by far the best club in Eugene. The quality of the tables, chairs, and atmosphere is amazing. They added $150 to the tournament prize pool, and even though I didn't cash, I had an incredible time. I play mostly for entertainment, but Trevor made me feel like a seasoned pro. He was super sympathetic for my loss, and he even walked me to my car. I highly recommend the safe, and comfortable atmosphere at Beach Poker Club.
A superbly designed poker room. A Las Vegas style poker experience nestled in Eugene Oregon. Beach Poker has fantastic tables and chairs. The club has an comfortable atmosphere and a professional staff and a fish tank!. Player feedback is highly valued by the management. Promotions for cash and tournament play. If you like poker, Beach is a must visit.
won a few hundred dollars, and that was luck on the river.. its intimidating.. the chess, i think, wasnt as fun. a chess club is kind of a dumb thing to pair up with poker.. poker is a commitment game, but the chess group is more pre-emptive strategy.. Lost most of my queenside openings, controlled the center a lot... im not too defensively coordinated. .
Great people fun atmosphere. Dealers call you by your first name and are very helpful. Very clean place and looks nice
Great place to play highly recommend the beach and full house poker! For people from out of town choose one of these two places the other establishment is awful! Stay away from high mountain poker!
