Maria and her team are very friendly. Great spot for Dippin' Dots, Churros, Pretzels, Nachos and lots of other fun ice cream and snacks.
What a great new management. She went off menu and made my ice cream EXACTLY as I had asked for it. Way to go. This is going to be great with new management and new owner who really appreciates her customers and cares about providing great food. PLEASE try this for Burgers and Ice Cream and you will be happy you did!!! I heard word of some new menu items coming soon so check it out! I'll be back on my next trip to SoCal and this has become a must on my list now. Great job and see you soon!
I've never been treated so poorly as I was yesterday by the individual taking the orders. He personally attacked me and I could tell he wasn't listening to my order for my son. When the food came out incorrect and I took it back to the window he verbally assualted me directly and to everyone else in line before throwing my money back and refusing to correct his mistake. If he's the owner I'm shocked he's still in business. If he's an employee the owner should take into consideration how he represents their business.
One of the best burgers I've ever had!! That double cheese king burger ain't no joke!! You better be hungry. Fries are good too if you like them with seasoning salt. To go orders only, no seating. You can call your order in.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. But unfortunately in order to write a review I have to at least rate it one star. The owner Tony, is a terrible person and should NOT own a business with face to face customer service. He'll curse at your children for being too rowdy. If your order is incorrect and you challenge him. He will literally throw your money back at you and call you a fat ass. To anyone looking to buy this business from him, don't it's a trap. He has owned it for almost 5 years yet he is still dipping into personal savings to just pay the rent and his employees. According to the property owner, he doesn't even have a lease. Avoid giving this man your money. He needs to leave Newport Beach. Then he wonders why no ones comes to his place. No one wants you here or to support your business. Your going broke because your karma is catching up to you. Charging $6 for a scoop of ice cream at any other shop on the peninsula is half that price. Dropping f bombs on kids that aren't even in middle school. Sticks his hand down his pants then goes on touching customers food. Telling people they are too stupid to eat here. Maybe you are too stupid to run a business properly or efficiently. Fires employees without paying them their last check. Health department should probably ask him how he goes to to the bathroom in his establishment when he doesn't have one. Let's his employees and himself partake in drugs in the back of the kitchen. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. NOT A KID FRIENDLY BUSINESS. Don't spend your money here, don't work here, don't even get near this place. I'm sure when you read the other reviews you'll see I'm not the only one who has been treated poorly by the owner of this business.
Terrible the cheif had the biggest attitude. If you dont like your job quit made my time here unbearable.. Food wasnt that good i wouldnt go here again
got a bite here on the 4th of july. the people working here were about a rude as humanly possible without picking a fight, and both of us got sick from the food. stay away.
Awesome late night hours! Who doesn't love a burger after the bar close for cheap and tastes freaking amazing??!??!?
Excellent service and amazing food! This place is under new management, and it is THE PLACE to go if you are in the area!
