Beacon 443 Diner

Very friendly stuff. Great food and very peaceful place. If not the fact I live 45 min away I would be there every day. Plenty of choice in the menue. Thank you for taking care of us at this rainy day. PS... great coffee as well.

The food was really good but took close about 45 minutes to come out. Pretty long for a party of 2 getting breakfast. The host was extremely friendly and our waitress kept the coffee cups full. The restaurant itself is dated and doesn't necessarily look clean and inviting. But overall, we left happy and full.Food: 5/5

Awesome place with amazing staff! Food is exactly what you'd expect at a diner, which is great when so many places try to be fancy and fail. The Belgian waffle with strawberries and whipped cream is delish. Very friendly and a favorite classic diner with classic food. Be kind... Staffing has been tough but they'll tell you that straight up when you go in.

There is a sign when you enter this place apologizing in advance for lengthy waits due to staffing shortages. They're not kidding. We were waited on within 5-7 minutes, got our drinks in a reasonable amount of time and then waited for 45 minutes before our server came to the table to tell us that 1 of the items we ordered was not available! She explained that there was only 1 cook and he had just gotten to our order! Within 10 minutes we had our meals because we had ordered breakfasts. The food was good, the service was good, considering she was the only server in a decent sized, busy dining room, just don't go here if you're in a hurry!

We had ordered 3 meals all of which came out cold.. The chicken croquettes were filled with gristle, and they tasted horrible. We’ve been coming here for years but the last few times the food was horrible. On a positive note the waitresses were great. If only they could find a good cook!

Bad, Bad is all I can say. When I went in I had high expectation's but when I ordered the food took for ever to arrive. If I were to drive to NJ and make myself a meal I still would have eaten earlier. And then when the food came It was cold and discussing. That was the coldest food I’ve ever tasted, I did ask them to warm it up but then that took forever. Eventually when all the food came out mildly warm It was discussing.No word in the Engish dictionary can describe this atrocity. The waiters ignored me for most of my time there. All I can say is bad.

Very odd diner… very slow and no one wants to take your order until you wait 15 mins. They charge you for a tomato on your sandwich….. poor service and quality. Better off going to Beacon in Tamaqua. Will not be returning to this nightmare. It also took us 40 minutes to get our food, 2 simple sandwiches. Food was also gross and cold…

They up charged the bill from the prices on the menu and got mad when I caught it and asked for a correction. The managers daughter in her late 30’s thinks it’s okay to cross the room and address minor children with attitude for them saying “it was simple math” the cashier with a calculator couldn’t figure out the price difference I was willing to let the horrible food and poor service from the waitress pass with no review and just never go back. However, because of the managers daughter and the way they acted about me finding the upcharge they get an additional 10 minutes of my time to post this review. Save your tastebuds and head to a nearby town or opt for fast food down the road.

Food was cold ...when the butter on mashed potatoes doesn't melt...we have a problem. We both ordered the dinner special ...25 minutes to be served. Staff never offered another drink. I would not recommend.Food: 2/5

This place needs to be shut down terrible food wasn't even cooked says they short staffed which I understand but that doesn't mean you get to give poor customer service my gf mixed race and only thing I can think of why we had such poor service cause white couple in front and behind got extremely attentive service while I couldn't even get my coffee refilled place is racist and extremely awful in all aspects. Should be closed down permanently.
