Perhaps I went on the wrong day but stopped in for lunch around 12:30 on a weekday and was sorely disappointed. I’ve eaten lunch here probably a hundred times over the years and it is just not what it once was. The plate lunch options were extremely limited and they were out of half of it at 12:30 p.m. There were literally no sides available that weren’t carbs and the only meat options were underwhelming. And the bread was a cold, hard roll. The atmosphere was depressing and the restaurant basically empty. It was just sad. Hopefully this was an anomaly. Made me long for the days of being greeted with a sweet smile by Miss Daisy and served an excellent southern lunch plate with those great hot rolls. I regularly pass by and see the parking lot full, so hopefully I happened to pick a bad day…? Will go back for breakfast and try one more time for lunch when the parking lot is full.

I will NEVER walk through the doors of this place again! The waitress refused to wait on us and stayed so loudly for everyone to hear after she threw our menus and silverware on the table. Judy Pettit is the most rudest waitress I have ever encountered!Food: 5/5
I love a good greasy spoon, but this place was a bit dirty, service was okay. Food was over cooked and tasteless - edible but nothing to write home about.Food: 2/5
Upon walking in we were greeted by a rude and condescending lady. Extremely unprofessional. We finally sit down and our waitress is extremely rude. Not even basic manners. Food had a long wait time. Food finally came and it was terrible. Not worth getting yelled at. Finally upon checking out my party didn’t tip due to the rude and terrible service. I’m not tipping somebody who’s rude to me and bad at there job. They decided to shame us at the counter and take photos. You can’t make it up. Confederate flags everywhere. If you have a racist grandma with redneck cousins it’s like eating there. Any breakfast place in Oxford is better than this. Avoid.
Food was a good price and tasted good. Servers were just very rude, could have just been a bad day but that was my experience.
Gone in twice for lunch, within their posted hours…I was told they were closed. Today the “head waitress” was rude and snarky about it.Food: 2/5
Needs a bit of updating. The breakfast potatoes were old and soggy. Biscuits and gravy, eggs and meat were exceptional! Very attentive server as well.
