The current selection of women's shoes was smaller than other Bealls I've visited. However, the women's clothing seemed more updated than anything I've seen in other Bealls stores so I guess it all evens out. Just depends on what you're shopping for, I suppose. The store seemed more organized than the last time I was there, which was about 9 mo ago. Of course they weren't nearly as busy either. My last visit was right before Christmas & this visit was on a Monday night, in Sept.....Go figure. I do plan on returning fairly soon as I was short on time & wasn't able to try anything on. I just wish this location wasn't so far from my home. It would also be nice if they were open a little later, even a couple of nights out of the week, but I'm sure the sales associates would beg to differ. :-
I Was lied to and misled .. I got to my house and couldn’t shake the feeling of feeling like I was scammed at a department store in my neighborhood .. so sad .. Went in there to take advantage of huge closing sell. Went to purchase a set of glass ware, the cashier asked me if I wanted a free magazine with my purchase and I said yes so she went to take my address info come to find out she was signing me up for a 3 month subscription and I had no clue on till I asked what she was doing when she went to look for a barcode to scan for the magazine. Right away I told I didn’t want a subscription to anything I just wanted to make the purchase I originally was making , she did not communicate that to me as she was registering my card and contact info into this magazine subscription . She had to “ reboot “ her register after already taking my payment and said she had to charge it again on a different register. Was not handed a receipt the first time and only the second transaction did I receive a receipt . My bank account shows I was charged twice and the manager said it was pending but wasn’t going to charge. I will need to go back today to try and get the rest of my money back. What a ridiculous experience no wonder this store is closing down ...
Beal's have gone down the tubes. There store looks like a Dollar discount store instead of the classy version before they were acquired. Beware of the so called discounts. Most racks with a big 40% off sign on them are excluded from the discount or it is lower. I will not shop there again!
Came here a couple of weeks ago to look for some good sales. Food variety of clothing from dress shirts and suites to t shirts. You can usually find good deals on sales racks and on line coupons are always available.
I was honestly extremely disappointed. We lived in Idaho for 12 years and shopped Gordmans all the time. We loved it! So naturally we were so excited they were finally opening one here. But it honestly felt like it was just a clearance store for the old items from the previous store. It didn't look or feel like a gordmans at all. I realize things may have been difficult due to covid-19. But seriously it felt like just another Ross or any other discount store. In fact my whole gmail went and not one person found something they liked. We left empty handed and went to shop elsewhere.
Bells does have the most amazing sales and rewards for shopping at their stores. I had gone to the store 1 day before the sales were due to start so I was disappointed...my fault for getting my dates wrong. I love everything about shopping at Bealls and their sales are unbeatable.
Not great. I received two coupons in the mail. The one for 25% off could only be used if I used Bealls credit card. The $10 coupon could not be used for any item ending in an 8. Both were worthless to me. Back to Kohl's, SteinMart, Macy's etc. Anywhere but Bealls
Awesome shopping experience! Found just what I was looking for and on sale.
Bealls here in Georgetown is a good store but Bealls in general is going downhill. The misses clothes look like they were made for Juniors or grandmas or are just not becoming for any women. I don't like pull on pants but that is all Bealls seems to carry anymore. I'm very disappointed in Bealls selections for ladies. They have plenty of x-small, small, and mediums sizes but don't carry many large or x-large clothes. I guess I will stop shopping Bealls. Their website doesn't work right so it's fruitless to try.
