Came looking for some short sleeved dress shirts, suit jackets, and a ties. Only found one shirt I kind of liked and fit me, everything else was either too small or not the right color. The price for the one shirt I felt was a tad too much, closing in on the $14 mark, when it was more like a $10 shirt at best. Oh well, my shopping journeys continue.
I had a great experience here,. My husband and I had went to about 13 stores to find a bed bench and some storage for my towels and wash clothes for my bathroom. After much frustration, and being overheated during this hot spell in Florida, we decided to go to Bealls on US 19, in the shopping center with Conns, and found just what we were looking for, FINALLY!! I am so happy we didn't give up!! The cashier we had was great, and patient. All around wonderful shopping!!
DON'T COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A MEDIUM/LARGE BAG. EVEN IF IT CONTAINS OXYGEN AND YOU OFFER TO PROVE IT. I would like to notify corporate. Thanks to one specific employee who has treated me VERY poorly at least 3 times now, I'll never come back and have mentioned this to others. Before I begin, I completelyyyy understand working retail. I worked LOSS PREVENTION AT WALMART in hudson for nearly 3 YEARS!!! Currently I manage a bakery nearby so often I just kill the hour by window shopping there or at booksamillion. The first time I met this "lady", while I'm shopping she's maybe two aisles away and it's very quiet. I hear her saying something to the effect of, "yes big black bag shes doing blah blah blah". I can hear her clearly bc the store is basically empty and there was no music in this moment. I look around and noticed she's obv talking about me. I haven't even gone into the dressing room yet? So I'm like ok that's weird but w.e. I continue browsing, try on two or three things. Get nothing. As I'm leaving, she's again maybe 5ft from the exit door with her back to me, speaking into her headset saying "she's leaving now". At this point IM FED UP!!!!!!!!. I stop and say, excuse me miss did you say something to me? She says no. I ask, so you haven't been talking about me? She says no. I ask, would you like to see the inside of my bag? SHE SAYS NO. I have COPD. I occasionally have a portable oxygen concentrator. If she had followed through with her b.s, it would be over with BC SHE WOULD SEE THAT IN MY BAG AND UNDERSTAND NOT EVERYONR HAS ONE TO STEAL. I was LIVID. Working as loss prevention, I completely get that younger women are statistically more likely to steal and large bags should be monitored. WHAT YOU DONT DO is be unprofessional by gossiping about the customer. So I avoided this location for some time. I go by tonight during my break and I asked her for help finding a sweater in another size, she said "mhhmmm its around" , in a very rude and condescending way and LITERALLY ROLLED HER EYES. Essentially refused to help me. I understand shop lifting has reached astronomical levels which has never been seen before in the United states, it's an epidemic. HOWEVER she can do her job and be respectful. Which she actively refuses apparently. Before this last time, I came in and was using the compressor, like you could see the tubes in my fricken nose, and STILL she followed me and made me feel unwelcome. Like what next, you gonna start searching wheelchairs???? I almost asked her name but was worried I'd lose my temper if I spoke with her further. Simply trash. Not a good person nor does she provide good customer service. She worked the night shift, Monday September 25th. She is a tall, frail looking older woman id guess in her 50s or 60s? Also had light brown hair, up tight in a bun and I believe she was wearing all black. I would like to report her behavior further bc frankly it felt like being discriminated against bc of my medical condition. I would like her information to report this to corporate so if a manager could respond. If she somehow beyond all reasoning is the manager, I would like to speak with someone else. Thank you. - Anastasia.
I'm deeply disappointed by my wife's recent interview at Bealls in Port Richey, FL, with Store Manager Regina. Her lack of preparation and professionalism was concerning. Regina didn't even know my wife's last name or her work history. She scolded my wife for not researching Bealls beforehand, which was uncalled for, especially for a company only willing to pay $13/hr for a team leader position. Might be time to invest in talent. What's worse, my wife applied for a full-time position but was told that the store over-hires, resulting in unstable working hours. Regina also said there were no leadership positions available, despite my wife applying for one. This experience was unprofessional and misaligned with the brand. I'll be sharing this with my network to raise awareness. I hope Bealls takes steps to improve its hiring practices.
I had a return and the manager was super nice. Took care of the return and outta the store in about 5 minutes. Great prices at this store as well
Very nice place I probably will return often into shop there
Awesome store great prices & very neat & organized
Love this store. All kinds of bargains. Rewards are ok too
Men's shoes are very limited. I did find a really cute pair of sandals that reminded me of the "Candies" sandals from back in the 80's. I plan to go back & get them, very soon. Also saw cute purses. It just depends on what you're looking for.
Always well organized and the cosmetics and face care sections are awesome. Love they expanded to more hair care. Great kitchen section and clearance purses. Never crowded.
