Bear Creek Archery has been open since March of 1989 as a full service pro shop with a 20 yard public indoor shooting range.

Wither you are new to archery, or shoot like a pro, we are here for your every archery need.

Description

We are a full service bow shop with a staff of qualified bow technicians. Some services require our senior tech. Some repairs must be left here for work to be done. Repair times vary depending on the work to be done, whether parts need to be ordered, etc. Special bow strings and cables may be specially ordered from our pro string maker. Special order pricing may apply.

Overall, had a really positive experience here. We went in on a Saturday morning when they were super busy with no idea what to expect and a million questions I.e. I want to get into archery and I know nothing about it, can you help me? and they were polite enough to get us set up with some rental gear and a quick run down on how to shoot. They were pretty busy and it seems like they have a lot of "regulars", so it was nice to see the business willing to invest in potential customers vs only paying attention to regular customers. We scheduled a private lesson with Ed who was really cool and gave us some more pointers. I would definitely recommend the private lessons if you're new to archery. The one on one was great. It's a pretty small shop, but the range is nice and they have a cool T.V. set up to see close ups of your shots. Overall, I would recommend this place, just be prepared for them to be busy, and possibly having to wait for help which is great for a small business to be busy, so I'm not complaining, but once they're able to help you they're polite and knowledgeable. I would also recommend taking the archery for beginners class rather than just showing up as a complete beginner and needing to get set up with everything on the spot, both for their sake and for yours.
Got a Hoyt Torrex XT from them took it out and shot it and it’s spot on. These guys were awesome. I’m new to archery they were very helpful.
Hands down best bow shop around!! Cannot recommend them enough - should be 10 stars! Guys are cool, know what they are doing, and really take the time with customer to help ensure their setup is ready to roll when it goes out the door. No pressure or attempts to up-sell.
The level of professionalism and genuine interest in helping the customer here is unmatched, especially in the realm of archery shops. I used to go to No-Limits, which always treated me like I was unwelcome and interrupting their day. Every time I come into Bear Creek I’m welcomed with a smile and get the fully focused service that keeps me coming.
Set up a birthday group for myself. Steve made the process super easy to set up the day, set up a time, and answered all my questions. The day of my party Ray was our instructor. Ray gave us good tips and taught us good shooting etiquette. I enjoyed the experience. My friends and I will probably come back to shoot more.
Love going here but, one of the older bald male employees is constantly rude and make an effort to always make me feel uncomfortable. I have had nothing but negative interaction with the employee, I have made an effort to avoid him when I enter the store but he always seems to jump in my conversations and bash my gear or personally insult me. I have always made an effort to remain in my corner and remain quiet but, after our last encounter I think I’m switching over to RMS.
Hate to break the rating but my experience with these guys was awful. Brought an ancient PSE bow that I gave my brother to get new string and arrow rest. That part went fine-picked bow up a couple weeks later. Paid $30 labor for the work but no offer to shoot the bow???? So, we took it directly to Bear Creek Lake range to shoot it. Arrows hit 10-12" right and tail left. I moved the sight A LOT but eventually corrected that. Then I had to move Whisker Biscuit rest to correct for drift. I finally got that done then adjusted sight again. I have been shooting compound bows for over 40 years and never had any shop install stings/arrow rest and not tune the bow. Not going back there.
My wife and I, our first time here, awesome experience!! The staff was tremendously knowledgeable, very helpful, they gave tips and adjustments to my bow!! Thanks a ton, we'll be back!!

Very cool archery shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I went here for the first time to get my bow tuned; they did a great job tuning it. The shop had a great atmosphere and overall feel. They had a wide variety of bows, accessories, 3d targets and the range looked great. I would highly recommend this shop for your archery needs. I plan on buying my next bow from here in the coming weeks. Great to see they carry Prime and Elite bows also!
