I blindly picked Georgia to color and cut my hair. I came out so happy. First, Georgia is an amazing young woman that I am glad to have met. Second, she did an amazing job on my hair. I have self colored my hair in the past and my hair was in aweful shape. I asked her to match my natural hair color - and she got it spot on! I then roughly described how I wanted it cut - again - spot on! Thank you Georgia. I will be back to see you again!
I absolutely have no idea what I did before Beauty Brands! I love my stylist, Corey. He is the best with my long blonde locks and wouldn't trust anyone else with them. I love the liter sales and get all my cosmetics there as well including bare minerals and lip glosses. As you can see Corey does amazing work! I am thrilled to have him so close by!
So my experience from the beginning was far from great. First I was told and showed up for my appointment and it turned out that my appointment wasn’t for another week. The manager of the store was very apologetic and ended taking care of that issue. However, my experience with the technician that I was told had 25 years experience with acrylic nails was a totally different story! I was asked what shape I wanted, color, length. I politely answered that I wanted short coffin shaped nails, my color that I wanted was dark blue with a sparkly accent nail. Not only did I not get the shape or length I wanted but there were places that the acrylic was missing. I tried voicing the issues I had prior to the polish going on my nails and it was not addressed by the technician. After leaving I was extremely unsatisfied with how my nails looked. I called to see if the technician could get me back in to fix what was wrong and I was told that there wasn’t time that day. I had to go to another nail salon and it took over two hours to fix my nails. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon for any services.Service: Acrylic nails
I was a customer in the store. No one was on the floor helping anyone. I was shopping for a hair straightener and had seen one online that was on sale. There were no signs in the store showing this straightener was on sale. Took it to the check out & showed them the ad. Oh yes it's on sale. What kind of advertising is this or service. Very sad.

Love me some Beauty Brands. Topeka, Olathe or wherever. Always a deal - especially as a Take Ten member.
Is clean and well organized and the help runs to serve you. I wanted a nylon back brush. I brought a sponge on a wood stick. Walmart was out of their $5.95 but at Beauty Brands it was $20.00
Lots of high quality product, with a well lit show room. Employees made me feel safe by wearing masks. Prices were difficult to find, and although I was greeted when I arrived, NO ONE asked me if I needed help. It was my first shopping experience here and I really needed knowledgeable assistance to find the products I was looking for to maintain and style a new cut and color I just had done. Including myself, there were only 2 customers in the store, so really there's no excuse for being ignored like this. I found some of what I was looking for, but was also looking for makeup suggestions, however, employees were otherwise engaged in talking, busy doing whatever it is they do when not helping customers I guess. I spent 15-20 minutes looking at makeup but became overwhelmed with all the choices and didn't want to intrude on the employees' conversations, so I left without most of what I came to purchase. On another note, the parking lot is dangerously laid out, unmarked, and in near rubble condition. If I come back, I'll bring a friend who can help me find the right products. This is what I recommend you do too.
My daughter had a blast getting her nails done. Brandy was very nice and the nails turned out great.
The products are okay enough, but the salon services I wouldn’t ever recommend. I went there and ended up with hair that literally looked the same as when I walked in. The entire time the woman was talking about how damaged my hair was, and the breakage, when I told her multiple times that I had layers from a previous stylist. She was so loud about this and I was beyond embarrassed, because as I mentioned it went on for the entire duration of the service. Nothing else was talked about aside from how much money she spends on trips for her family. Super unprofessional and terrible service. I won’t be coming back. Ever.
