This park is clean, beautiful and so well taken care of. Me and my dogs enjoyed our morning.
Hiking trails are poorly marked. We followed paths and encountered a few dead ends. The bridge by the lake ends at an overgrown trail. See picture The park had plenty of soccer fields, a small trout lake pond, creek. Restrooms and parking available. The fall foliage is beautiful in October. Restrooms: Porta john
We come here to take the kids to the playground. This place has the best toddler / baby swings. They're lower to the ground and you can push the kids higher. They have wheelchair accessible swings as well. My only complaint is not about the park - but the people who walk on the paths and think that they own the road and won't move over for vehicles lol
The road is a 2 and half mile loop through the park with trails off to the side as you go through. They are pretty mooshy this time of year. When you come in the entrance there is a trail to your left going up the hill past the cat tails. The pond gets foggy early so a beautiful view. The covered bridge is a beautiful place to sit and chill there you'll find the head or tail end depends where you started your trail end/start of three trails. Super green this time of year!!! Free use soccer fields.
This is a nice nature park. Although my review is based on the playground area only. They do have hiking trails and a nice fishing pond and lots of pic nick areas. There’s a really cool covered bridge. The road has mile markers if you walk along it. The playground is really young kid friendly and also wheelchair friendly they have a nice swing set so people who are in wheelchairs can also enjoy the fun of the playground. There’s plenty of parking and the playground has mulch . There’s also a lot grass for throwing balls and running.
I wasnt in the park but I was on the little bridge right next to the park entrance. I've never seen more people disregard a series of road closed signs. They would drive clean into the bottom of the hollow thinking they were still gonna be able to get across !!!!! There's no bridge Bill !!!! Then they would prefer to flip out on us.... Then make up stories about how they aren't from around there but in the same sentence give specific names of people that lived at the end of the road. People late for work coming down over the hill flying !!!! Past signs that I put directly in the middle of the road a1/4 mile back . Funny how they don't stop after the very first sign.
Love our local park. I wish they had bike lanes or at minimum sidewalks. If you drive through on a nice summer weekend, your swerving around groups of pedestrians.
Brush Creek Park is a very nice butta quiet place that I see joggers use very often. Also a place to relax and enjoy some fishing or grab a table and have yourself a lunch break or many others things to do. Absolutely a great place for relaxing or shooting pictures. Pics4yinz ~ Roscoe
Great place to walk dogs. Not super crowded and there are some areas along the paths for the dogs to cool off in water. Horses are allowed on trails too. There is also a playground, picnic areas, soccer nets, baseball fields, a lake etc.
Gave it a 3 star because trails are hard to find. Some trails are overgrown. On the plus side there is ruins and bridges!!
