Bee Bayou is a small honeybee farm nestled in the piney hills of SW MS, that produces some of the best wildflower honey available anywhere in the World!
We also take any opportunity we can to help the honeybee and educate the public on their importance. We offer beekeeping classes in the Fall, and do local swarm captures and colony removals when called. All bees are recovered alive and transported to one of our bee yards, where they can live and work safely!
Our primary mission is helping the honeybee, whether through education or providing them a safe place, free from pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides!
Bees pollinate 1/3 of our food, and without healthy, sustainable populations, our food system is in serious peril!! It is imperative that we protect and nurture these amazing creatures!
