In 1985, Jim Mellody dreamed up the idea of a neighborhood pub where friends and families could gather to enjoy good food and sports in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Together, with his wife Jeanette, they embellished the Brady family name and created the now-famous Beef 'O' Brady’s®. Their first restaurant opened in Brandon, Florida. The regulars quickly nicknamed it "Beef ’s®."

Inspired by a love of sports, Jim filled his restaurant with TVs and satellite dishes so patrons could enjoy watching a vast array of sporting events. He also covered the walls with authentic sports memorabilia he had collected through the years. As a final touch, he made sure a traditional Irish Blessing graced every menu, bidding good fortune and happy times to all who visited.

As the Beef's® story grew, so too did the menu. It was important to Jim that guests have variety (like the award-winning wings available in 12 signature sauces) as well as signature favorites with an Irish twist.

Today, Beef 'O' Brady’s® is one of the fastest growing restaurants in the country. Some call it the "Luck of the Irish." Jim would call it a darn good dream that took a lot of hard work.

Great service, good eats and very clean!! Real close to the Fairfield Inn.
On November 30, my fiance and I had a wonderful experience here! First off, we were having some trouble getting our gift card balance through the 1 800 number on the back of the card but the ladies up front I'm assuming it was the hostess and the manager were more than happy to check the balance for us. They were very polite and eager to help. Which gave us a good feeling about this place right off the bat. Once we received the balance we decided to have lunch. We were seated very quickly in a comfortable booth and then immediately greeted by our server. He was very friendly and easy going. We got our drinks fast and were given a perfect amount of time to order. I asked for the fried shrimp and my fiance ordered the Philly cheese steak. Safe to say this place does not cut corners on anything because both meals were cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. It's not easy to find a place that serves the high quality large fantail shrimp so I was extremely happy that they did here, it was absolutely delicious! My fiance had just recently went through an oral surgery and this was the very first real meal not the mashed potatoes, applesauce, and chicken noodle soup the poor guy had to survive on LOL that he was able to have so it meant a lot to us that his food was perfectly delicious and it was! The chilli we ordered as an appetizer and the funnel cake fries we ordered for desert were both extremely good too! We got everything super quick after ordering and it was all fresh and very tasty. Every employee seemed more than happy to make this an amazing experience for us and we both appreciate it: If you're looking for a nice/clean/friendly environment to have an amazingly good tasting lunch/dinner this Beef O Brady's is definitely the place to go!!! Came for dinner and drinks on a Monday Night. No Hostess when we walked in and ended up walking to the bar for service. The Bartender/Waiter was an cool dude, and remembered our order without writing it down, what was great considering wife made some special requests. Food was good, however one of our special requests was cold and wasn't eating. Waiter offered to take it off the bill. Overall was a good experience and we will return.
Nice looking place! Philly cheese steak needed au jus & they did not serve very many fries with it. Dill pickle chips were really good! Cosmopolitan was good but the lemmon drop martini was terrible. We did enjoy the atmosphere! Love all the tv's with sports playing!
We enjoyed the food. I had the wings and things and it was delish!! My mother had the Philly cheese flat bread and it was awesome! My lil sis had the chicken tacos and they were on point! Love this place.. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone
This place is gross. They have a poor beer selection. The meat on my sandwich was soaked in some kind of oil. The fried pickles were caked in excess flour. It was like I was just eating flour with cold thin pickles in there somewhere. The server acted like I was annoying to her. I didn't even bother complaining about anything so I am not sure what I could have done to annoy her. This place is on my never go back list.
Great atmosphere and I am a fan of their wings. Service is hit-and-miss but I've never had a bad meal. Family-friendly as well.
Clean and friendly. Got my order wrong but promptly corrected it. If you order the fish tacos, ask for more coleslaw. Really it was just cabbage. Could benefit from some cilantro in the poblano sauce, but otherwise light and tasty fish.
Food was good--good flavor, quick service. Went later in the evening so just sat in bar and wait staff was good. Nice accommodations and great location to arenas & hotel.
Table full of drunk millenials yelling and pounding drinks at 3:30 on Sunday afternoon put a damper on the visit. Food was good. Server was more concerned with entertaining the drunks than attending to the rest of her customera.
