Al and Millie Beerbower established Beerbower Jewelers in 1954. Their son Don now operate the business. Beerbower's is a member of both AGS and IJO. Don also is an AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser and is a Graduate Gemologist with GIA.
One of the many benefits of buying a diamond from a local jeweler, as opposed to an internet site or television broadcast, is the ability to ask questions, look through our microscope and observe the subtle colors in our Certified Master Diamond set. We want you to see what you are buying.
Services offered at Beerbower's:
We now offer state of the art LASER welding. We are the first to offer LaserStar welding service in Blair County. It allows us to do many repairs that could not be done before while being 260% stronger than traditional torch soldering.
We also do CAD-CAM design of jewelry with computer modeling so you can see what it will look like before we actually make the jewelry.
Watch Repair:
We provide on site watch repair. Our watchmaker has over 20 years experience. We can completely overhaul most watches including Rolex. Also minor things such as crystals, or stems and crowns can be replaced. Most batteries are done while you wait.
Jewelry Repair:
Our jeweler has 25 years experience. Most work is done within one week. Some same day. We can size your rings, retip worn prongs, replace new prong heads, and weld broken jewelry. We will also custom design jewelry with your input.
Engraving:
We offer machine engraving of most metal items, such as watches, bracelets, charms, and lockets to name a few. Also we can engrave inside your ring.
Appraisals:
We have a gemologist on staff that is a G.I.A. Graduate Gemologist, and is an A.G.S. Certified Gemologist Appraiser. We also have an A.G.S. accredited gem lab. We will be happy to appraise your items. Appointments can be made so you can wait for your jewelry if you wish.
