Happy there's a public pool here. Unhappy that the larger & better outdoor pool is closed September till next summer. Indoor pool is too small and tends to be crowded and there's lots of hair/debris floating in it..needs to be cleaned better. The lap lanes look very well maintained, hot showers and bathrooms look clean. Place is fine to go to when it's not crowded and outside is open. Beware of the time as lifeguards close the showers/locker rooms up as soon as session ends--no warnings.
I have been dealing with back issues for years and it was suggested to me by my doctor to start swimming regularly. I am a resident of Valencia County and I had never been to this pool. I am so glad I decided to visit! The facilities are beautiful and the staff members are kind and welcoming. I definitely came across a true gem and I am looking forward to becoming a regular. Thank you!
BEAST Aquatics has a year round swim team branch that practices here. Great price and excellent Coach for BEAST. So thrilled to find this in Belen for my children. Also, the indoor pool is full of natural light and the added lights are not dull or dimming. For a facility that has been there buy have they kept it up. It's an inviting environment and I've seen some pools to loath. BIG recommendations to take advantage of this place for swimming. Belen is privileged to have such a pool. Oh, cash only here- they could come into the times and use Zelle or something, but oh well.
It was big, wood paneling looks exquisite. Very satisfying floor acoustics. Echo effect was on point. Seats are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Floor was slightly springy, not to slippery, but mostly hard. The entire building had pretty good heating, but feet get cold to easily, almost as if shoes are required. Great natural light allowed in through windows. The other lights were bright, while still remaining warm. The vending machines had limited selection, but were stocked and reasonably priced. 5 stars. 5 thumbs up. 5 gold chains. 5 golden rings. 1 Abraham Lincoln.
Absolutely wonderful. The price is not bad. Also, you can use both indoor and outdoor pools.
Employee Barbara Rodriguez who managers there is a disaster. I would not be surprised if she has not had or has lawsuits against her for her treatment of everyone. My son had worked there and it was the most toxic work environment we've ever witnessed. Her son Nick who also had worked there then was just as bad. We will never go there again, never recommend it, and I strongly suggest they let Barbara and if her son Nick go.
It's a really cool place for the kids to have fun and enjoy the summer days

Great venue, however for meets, maybe have teams put their stuff in the gated outside area, instead of covering all the bleachers leaving no room for spectators. Then having the guy on the p/a mic yelling at people to clear certain areas. A little more organization is definately needed.
Both pools are really nice and clean. Only thing that ruined it for us were the life guards. My kids were playing together and were told numerous times they could not splash. I thought that was funny as we are in a POOL with WATER. I would say we will be going back but the lifeguards have ruined it for us unfortunately.
