Actually didn’t shop here. Went into the rubble behind the joint that used to be the Staunton Mall and well, you would have had to been there to experience what it really was. Me, my fiancé Tiff, my BRAM Daniel, his girl and his son, set up and well you can see from the pics. Beautiful, once in a lifetime experience

I have taken my 95 yr old mother in law shopping twice in the last month to the Belk store in Staunton. Our first visit was pleasant and your saleswoman was very helpful and polite. I can not say the same for Emily today. Upon arriving I asked where we could find sweaters and I was told you did not have that apparel out yet. We found some sweaters on our own, and when I checked out with Emily I politely said we found sweaters.  She rudely said 'so you did'.. She is definitely not the calibre of an employee I expect to find at Belk, lacking in good customer service skills. These young people need to realize that if you don't  treat your customers with respect, you eventually have NO customers. And without customers, you no longer have a job as the store will close. Sure hope she can be taught how to do her job better before she offends someone else.

Nobody in the store spoke to me until they asked me what kind of credit card are you using. I needed to ask an associate a question, and I said excuse me, excuse me, excuse me before I could get them to answer me. Even Walmart gets you better service than that. Even when she started ringing me up an associate started asking what hours you working, when's your break etc.,  and she just stopped cashing me out and talked to her. I know that this is the only store we have left now in Stanton shop at, but forget it. I'm done here.

I visit here everytime I come to area. Nice selection and usually good sales. It reminds me of other nice department stores that no longer exist in my hometown Chicagoland  area such as Carson Pierre Scott's and LS Ayres.

Speaking from 2 decades of retail experince...Looking a little rough.  I imagine staffing is as big a problem for them as anyone else.  Merchandising was sloppy and very little recovery/display maintenance in many areas.  Hand bag section was horrible. I was gift shopping.  Overall selection seems to be off as well.  I hope they improve, I've always liked Belk.

Love coming back to my neighbor home town. Had to do unexpected shopping while back in town. The ladies in the men's department were very personable and helpful. The big disappointment was had to go over the mountain to accommodate needs for 2 suits at Jos A Banks. A great experience.

Belk has some awesome sales going on right now for men for the Summer beach wear! Great shorts, long sleeve Tee shirts and matching button up casual dress attire are many times buy one, get two for free.

Herb the manager is excellent. I felt as if Belk gave me the perfect shopping experience. I discovered the black tag clearance items & purchased 4 of them; 4 gorgeous sweaters when I wasn't really shopping for fall/winter wear. Buying for warmth in August really made sense with prices not above $5 on each of these items! I spent $16.60 & saved $188! Much thanks to the sales ladies- Megan & Olivia for their guidance & patience! I'll be back

We are able to get some amazing deals here during the Black Friday sale. Although most of the items are marked up pretty high with the sale prices they were very affordable. The people were friendly. The store was laid out well. And we enjoyed shopping there.

Great customer service, a peaceful place for shopping.
