Bella Vision

I visited Bothell location on 10/7 and had eye exam with Dr Derrick Choe, after I got my glasses, I felt uncomfortable when I wear it for around 1 hour, I contacted their office and requested if doctor can recheck if the prescription needs to be adjusted. I saw doctor today and he advised me to wear the glasses for at least a week and if you still feel uncomfortable you can contact us again. During check out they told me that doctor will charge for this visit, and they will bill my insurance for the same. I was shocked and surprised to hear this, they are not backing up their prescription and if for any reason someone has issue with the prescription, they will charge for medical visit. I cancelled my kid's appointment, which was scheduled for next week, since I do not find this ethical. I will not suggest this facility to anyone.

A business thrives for the bare minimun. Sadly, go above and beyond is not in Bella's dictionary. If you are looking for neighborhood friendly shop, it might not be for you. I came to Bella with my brandnew frame and eye prescription from somewhere else. So I only needed lens to be made from Bella. A week later my glasses were ready. To my great surprise, the ladies handled me the glasses by the door. When I asked if I can come in for testing, fitting and adjustment, the lady told me "No you can't because the frame is not from us", and she locked the door in front of me. This is very different from other places where friendly staff made sure my glasses fit comfortablely, check if I can read both properly. Once another friendly shop even fixed my nose pad even if the old glasses were not from them. Two stars for 1 the lens are okay and 2 bare minimum services.

Good service. Friendly front desk. Eye exam was thorough, with glaucoma check, visual field, keratometry, refraction, and fundus eval. Dr Choe spent adequate time answering all my questions to satisfaction. No pressure upsell or nickel-and-dime tactics unlike what other family members experienced at another office. Dr Choe had no problem with me buying glasses from an online discount retail, and provided my PD measurements at no extra charge. Will definitely be back for next year's exam and will probably bring the rest of my family along, too

THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND WONT DISCLOSE COST UNTILL IT’S TO LATE. Bella Vision is a scam of an operation. I warn you to read this if you plan on using your hard earned money there. They have no value to the customer just there bottom line. Between Nikki Enstrom the store manager and Nasim Javaheri the doctor they intentionally fraud you by trying to set up multiple appointments to charge per visit and if you are going for Contacts, which I did, they do not disclose any cost up front until they charge you $120 for contact fitting and training. which is obscene considering it took 10 minutes to do. The problem is after you do the fitting and pay, they send you away for a week to see how the trail contact fill then reschedule you a week later to hit you with the price of contacts. There first defense was that I didn’t ask for the cost upfront. I explained that they are the professionals and would make sense to disclose that information. The follow up excuses was that contact prices vary so they couldn’t tell me. I explained that the cost are known once a prescription is identified, which they knew a week before. So that excuses didn’t work. So Nikki, the manager, stated that they mark up the prices so they can bill the insurance higher, but they can get me in cheaper contacts. That’s a very interesting statement and fraud in itself. I tried to be reasonable and asked if they would refund the fitting since they practice a bait and switch operation, or just shift the cost over to a pair of glasses and retain me as a customer and show a shred of integrity. She of course refused stating my insurance is to good and covers so much of the cost. Wow! I hope anyone who reads this makes the smart choice even though this is 1 complaint it takes 100’s of people for 1 to do something. My next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, StopFraud.gov and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau CFPB. I hope this is worth it Bella Vision.

Great selection of quality glasses and brands. Very pleasant experience with amazing customer service. My family and friends only get glasses now from Bella Vision. Will be going back for sure.

Manager could not even quote me a price for new lenses? Would of had to add lenses and doctor bill together. Must of been to hard of math?

Great office. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Had a complete exam. Answered any questions I had. Looking forward to going back every year

Great eye doctor with lot of patience to hear the patient and answer to the questions BUT the lady at the reception out of three ladies is rude, impatient and need to learn how to serve the customers at least with minimum courtesy.

They keep cheap frames. My frame broke 2 times in a year.

Really great staff and all around easy experience! Plus I found some sick frames, so that was nice
