I'm updating my post. In the 3 days, my father has been a rehab patient the staff has been fantastic. They are very attentive to my father's needs. They laugh at his jokes and are always friendly and professional. They know my dad wishes he was back home, and will be soon, and do everything they can to speed the process along. They communicate with the Doctors to get the next steps in their procedures and share that information. When I'm in the building they search me out to make sure I know what is going on. I haven't been gone long enough to have them call, but I'm sure they will. All of their staff has been great, but Maribel, Chloe, and Fe have been heroes in my mind. If you are being treated here, ask for them. Lastly, for me, the only way to get five stars is to do all the things above and be in a 5-star type hotel. That would be unaffordable, so this is the best option. Your family/you are in good hands here.
My mother has stayed here for about 3 weeks and the staff were very nice and professional. They treated my mother with the utmost care. She wanted to extend her stay each week. We are very happy. Thank you! We would also like to thank Nina, my mother's social worker.
My first visit to family member recently admitted. Staff was friendly and readily answered any questions I had. Administrator took me to the nursing station and introduced me to Director of Nursing. Administrator was also first to answer nurse call button, she seems very hands on, gave me the feeling she had the pulse of the place and handled issues before they became large problems
Staff were pleasant, the halls were active and inviting. The building presented itself as clean, airy. welcoming, well kept, and calm. Patients who I encountered in hallways were cheery and engaged.
Good experience overall with the personnel, friendly, place was clean and neat. The patient is content with the care. The entrance was delayed with the login requiring detail personal info for each individual.. a bit too much, we were just visiting not staying.
My elderly brother spent three weeks and five days at Bella Vista. He had a sore on his foot that became seriously infected and needed special attention to properly heal. Thankfully the staff did do a good job on taking care of his foot. The problem was the lack of communication. I had some questions and concerns and everytime I called to talk to someone about his foot, all I got was voicemail. I called a half a dozen times, I would leave a message and no one ever called me back. Three weeks, five days and not once was I able to talk to staff about my brothers progress. How can they leave a family member who is concerned for a loved one, hanging in the wind. I find that very unprofessional and disappointing!
Please do not bring your loved one here!!! Scabies, lice, COVID + and a 5"x5" severe yeast rash, and then they lost all my Mom's clothing, all in a 2 month period!!! This is what happened to my Mom from 2/22-5/22 and then we were finally able to take her out of there! Now, we are in the legal stages of ensuring this neglect and abuse does not happen to any other resident at Bella Vista EVER and to hold accountable all involved parties.
The facility is clean. Does not smell like urine. Easy check-in/out. Staff i very friendly.
The place is clean and the staff is friendly. They are caring for my Elderly Father. Seems to be good place for care. The doctor suggested it to family
Taking care of us!! One of the best nursing homes in California, I've been in like 4 nursing homes and this is the best• it's so hard to pin one staff when everyone is so awesome, I don't feel like a patient here, I feel needed, If I've a problem, some of the nurses step up and make me us feel better,
