I called and asked if they do Gel X, they said yes. When I got there and they asked what I wanted, I said Gel X, the lady insisted acrylic was better. I left, I knew what I wanted and it wasn't given to me when asked.
I disliked this place because I called before coming to see if they were still open and the lady said yes to come in. But when I got there it was only the nail lady & i. It looked as if they were already closed and she complained a few times saying to come earlier. But she of course didn't have to say yes to doing my nails. Anyway I was getting acrylics and she cut me deep at least 6 times and at that point I was getting pissed. You are a professional why do you keep cutting me?! I got home and I was looking at them and they were crooked! I wanted to go back and ask for a refund they were awful! Such a sloppy job. Highly do not recommend this place.
Lee & Mai did an awesome job Nails & toes look fabulous thank you both!
My nails are pretty short since I tend to bite them, but I wanted them to be touched up and look nice for an event this weekend. Was walking by during my lunch break and they said a mani/pedi would take half an hour, so I thought I'd give it a try. While working on my nails, woman says they're very thin, and I should do a treatment to make them stronger. I don't know if this was in response to her nicking my cuticle and causing it to bleed on my pinkey, or just a usual up-sell, but I just shrug and say okay, and she starts uses a powder dip and gives me super thick nails. I thought she was going to do fake nails or something, and said "I don't want them super long." She gets done making them look weirdly thick, and then pulls out a files and sands the tips of my nails down totally flat. At this point my fingers look like they have Chiclets on them. I don't have a lot of nail, and now I have giant short squat squares sitting on top of my fingers. She realizes from the very panicked expression on my face that I'm not happy, then tells me that I told her to make them short, and I should have been more clear. She offers to put a set of tips on them, to make them long. She's charging me for all of this, by the way. So she puts tips on top of the weird thick powder, and they're better then they were, but not what I wanted at all - I had come in wanting a simple manicure. I don't like fake nails, and have only had them once in my life. I can't even give a good review to the pedi, because they used a hot pink/red instead of the light pink that I selected. It never dried anyway, and was tacky hours later. I didn't care, I just wanted to get out of there. Which I finally do, 2 1/2 hours later, and my nails are awful even after everything she's done. My middle left finger nail is leaning sideways. I had to go to another place to get them fixed. All the people there kept coming over to look at them, because they couldn't believe how poorly my nails were done.
Good place to get your nails done.
They have a new ownership here and a star buck has just open right next to the shop which is way better and convenience. the new owner was great, she's very nice and friendly. Her name is April, she took care of the customers very well. you guys should come and check it out. you'll love it
