I have been a hairdresser and manicurist for over 30 years.. geez! I am a native to Corvallis, OR and understand the seasonal changes that cause us so much frustration with our hair. I absolutely love my job and look forward to going to work every day. My main interests are in Hair Color/Cutting, making sure you have a look that is not only fashionable and suits you and your routines but that is successful for you to style at home!
MY SPECIALTIES are in understanding NATURALLY CURLY hair (having it myself) and its many complications, as well as FINE hair. I will take the time to help educate you in why your hair is not working for you and what we can do to make you successful and feeling beautiful underneath your locks. I will also be very honest with you if what you think you would like will just not work for you or your hair type. Then together try to find a great compromise. I am a FIRM believer in the power of photographs as a means of communication. It can be a disaster to come in and TRY to explain and HOPE that the stylist understands, only to end up frustrated again with hair that you did not mean to end up with.
Color is simple and a beautiful thing! There are many different ways to do it and keep the integrity of your hair intact! I use Redken, Matrix and Schwarzkopf color lines as well as Joico and Pulp Riot vivids to keep you in the most luxurious hair texture and the richest tones. It doesn't have to be overly expensive to make your hair something everyone admires!

AS FOR NAILS... I have been a manicurist since the 1980's and Many different nail products have passed before me... always striving for the product that is the most fabulous and healthiest for your nail! As of last year, Creative Nail Design really brought us something to praise..... SHELLAC! Would you like your nails to practically never break and grow longer than you would have thought they could in just 2 weeks??? Almost everyone (but not all) are jumping for joy with this product! It is a wonderful light cured polish that is practically non-chip for 2-3 full weeks! What more could a woman ask for?! Well, I could think of a few things, but in the world of polish this product is AMAZING in my 30 plus year experience. It is NOT an artificial nail, and is something you can wear once and never again if you choose not too, but generally speaking, my clients cant get enough of it! Beautiful colors or natural tones .... and the LONGEVITY, well, try it once and you wont believe it! FABULOUS!
Shellac application is... $15 or $30 with a manicure
Of course there is always the option for a regular manicure which is $27 which includes all of the nail and cuticle maintenance, a marine mask and massage with a regular polish or just a natural buffing that brings a natural long lasting shine to the nail bed.
NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN OR OVERLOOKED IS THE PEDICURE, I have a wonderful jetted spa pedicure chair that once you sit in it, you just don't want to leave it. Approximately a 45- 60 minute process with great detail taken into making sure your whole foot and heels especially are exfoliated and ready for summer, your nails are beautifully shaped, buffed and polished for open toed sandals and your legs (knees down) and feet are buffed (with a wonderful blend of Dead Sea Salts and Almond Oil) and massaged with a light but deeply moisturizing lotion! 120 plus O.P.I polishes to choose from! This service is an absolute must!
