Dr. Dami Kim is a Pediatric Dentist, Specialty Permit #5986. Dr. Kim received her dental degree from University of Toronto in 2004 and worked in Ontario as a general dentist, but fell in love with working with children and moved to New York for pediatric dental training. She completed pediatric dental residency in 2009 at Jacobi Medical Center, NY and passed all the exams to become board certified with American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently on staff for both Hackensack Medical Center and Newark Beth Isreal Hospital where she treats children and adolescents with severe dental anxiety or special needs under general anesthesia. She also teaches dental residents as a clinical assistant at Hackensack Medical Center. Her focus of pediatric dentistry is on improving the quality of life for the patient and the family and not just treating a cavity. She has been happily helping children in New Jersey since 2009.
