My scooter was damaged thru airline travel. Bellevue healthcare took care of everything. I was gone for 3 months. They had no problem holding on to my scooter and kept me up to date. I called them on Thursday when we were back in town. Scooter was delivered next day at the exact time the delivery was promised. Thank you
I would normally give the Tacoma branch a 5 star rating until today. I had a last minute opportunity to drop off a broken smart drive that I no longer needed because I got other means of assistance, so I wanted to return it. The lady that helped me was very rude in the end. What employees need to understand is the following: you are dealing with people with disabilities, both visible and invisible, and you don’t know who has what, just by looking at them, you need to be respectful, understanding and patient!!! When you ask somebody if they would like to donate it or throw it away and they customer ask you the question: Do you guys donate it to places or know of a place to donate because I would like to do that, and as an employee, you come back to a customer very rudely and say that’s not what I asked you. I asked you if you would like to donate it or throw it away? I chose to throw it away in the end because of how rude this person was. I am sorry I didn’t catch her name.
Being from out of town and looking for help getting my mother's brakes adjusted on her walker, I brought it to Bellevue Healthcare in Lacey and Thomas Farmer branch manager promptly made them operational, explained how they worked and how they could be easily adjusted in the future if needed. I was so surprised and thankful he did so free of charge! We've rented equipment and bought various supplies from this company back in 2011 and in 2015 when my wife's parents died, surrounded by family at home, so I knew they were a trustworthy provider and that's what led me there today. I highly recommend this company, this store and it's competent and caring employees.
We purchased a lift recliner and a number of items from the Lacey branch. We received outstanding service both in the store and from the delivery team. When there were problems with the recliner Bellevue Healthcare went above and beyond to ensure we were cared for promptly and the issue was resolved to our complete satisfaction. They provided outstanding customer care, showed our family compassion, and owned resolving problems that weren’t necessarily their responsibility.
I have worked in long term care for about 5 years as a Social Worker/ Discharge Planner. An important part of my job is ordering durable medical equipment. I depend on companies such as Bellevue for educating me on Medicare and other insurance guidelines related to equipment. It is vital for a safe discharge plan that my residents have what they need for safe mobility etc. It is also important that insurance cover that item. Bellevue is ahead of the game so to speak when it comes to this process and service. Not only do they know exactly what Medicare needs, they ensure the customer gets exactly what they need. They take time to educate me on proper documentation. Many other companies are quick to fill an order, however down the road when they get audited many customers in the community are having their equipment removed. I appreciate the effort Bellevue makes to ensure this doesn't happen to my residents. I further appreciate the extra mile they go to deliver a last minute order. Dave Brandt and Jon Murray are vital to my success as a Social Worker. Thank you for making my job easier and efficient.
Working with Bellevue has been a blessing! Bellevue is BrightStar Care Home Care preferred partner in the community. They have gone above and beyond when it comes to patient care. They are professional and perform outstanding customer service!
I am so impressed on how quickly Bellevue healthcare delivered my mothers bed and concentrator. Dan was very informative and kind and left us feeling prepared to take on the road ahead. Thank you so much for having someone on your team that truly cares about his clients.
Sam,the manager, went above and beyond to work with me because my insurance company didn't cover a kneely scooter for mobility. I'm on a fixed income and could not afford to rent one for the length of time I need during recovery from surgery...but these terrific gentleman figured out a solution for me to have mobility and joy in life again!!! And so easy with such kindness and compassion.....I recommend if you are needing any kind of medical equipment check out Bellevue Healthcare...and ask for "Sam" I am positive that you won't be disappointed with your experience!!!!!
My wife has had a CPAP machine for over a year paid through our health insurance Anthem and Tri-Care. We have not received a bill for Bellevue Healthcare before. In we received a bill in October for $15.70 and another one in November for $6.54. Invoices did not explain anything. I called six times leaving messages with Bellevue HealthCare billing section. To this day nobody has responded. Went to their store in Lacey where Sam was trying to help, but I could not get a good explanation from him why as being billed and what they were for knowing that this is not his job Sam was very patient with me. He suggested that I should get into my Tri-care and Anthem account. I assume these are recent billings were for service on September 11, 2020. I was wrong the $6.54 is from a billing in February 2020 and $15.70 was from May. I don't believe this is from Covid-19 because my wife order CPAP equipment during this time and received it. The last billing for service on September 11, 2020 went as follows with Anthem they were billed $202.61, allowed by plan $148.21, paid their part, the remainder was $44.46. Then Bellevue healthcare then billed Tri-care $190 amount Tri-care paid $31.85. My wife gave Tri-care permission to go over her billing statements. I went over the information from with Tri-care customer service. She informed me and I verified it through Anthem that if a primary insurance is bill $202.16 the secondary insurance company should be billed the same amount of money with the information with the allowed by the plan and how much they pay. With this information being different the secondary insurance, calculated the wrong amount to pay. They need the full picture so they can coordinate payment. She also stated from a quick calculation from what I explained to her that they would a covered the $44.46. Now looking At all the claims submitted to Anthem, the all looks correct and processed in a timely manner. Looking at Tri-care all of the amounts billed are different than What Was Billed to Anthem. Duplicate claims have been submitted to tri-care for the same service. With different amounts of billing from each other. This puts an undue stress on me. I trusted a company to bill in a timely manner to process the claims quickly, to return my calls when I have problems with the billing. If they cannot talk to me because the account under my wife's name they should at least let me know and what I could do to get her permission to see the accounts. But no. I don't know what's wrong with this company. But I do not trust them. Looking at their sloppy processing going to Tri-care is causing delays in payments from us to them. Then when we get a payment we don't know what it's for. If they don't want to deal with Tri-care or they don't want to support veterans and their families they should let us know up front. And if they don't understand submitting wrong information for claim cost them money because of the repeat work. Also if they do not receive the proper's amount from the insurance companies they're going to bill me to take it out my pocket. You would think they want to fix this.
I lost my ability to walk at the beginning of this year, and my insurance made it more difficult to get a wheelchair than they should have. The manager and the employees here were extremely nice and helpful, they made sure I had what I needed and always made me feel cared for. Bellevue healthcare, and the manager Sam, have made one of my worst struggles in life much more bearable and I highly recommend going here for any medical supply needs!!!
