These officers do NOTHING! Do not do their jobs even when witnessed illegal activity themselves. You have to call more then 3 times to get them to even come out and do anything at all! Bellevue police do not care at all! DO YOUR JOBS.
Like illegal street races at 1 in the morning? The Bellevue Police Department sure does! For the last year, I've lived off of NE 8th street and been subject to the sound of a bunch of prepubescent teenagers in their daddy's sports cars loudly racing each other at 1-3 AM. That doesn't mean that they might be racing at some point during those hours - I mean that they are able to race DURING those hours without stop. Calling the local non-emergency number doesn't seem to do anything, other than to confirm that I'm not the only one complaining. Get your act together, Bellevue PD. Noise is one thing, but one of these kids is going to crash and burn and you seem to do nothing to stop it.
I've lived in Bellevue for over 20 years and feel lucky and blessed to live in such a safe, clean and modern city. The Bellevue Police officers that serve the Bellevue community are outstanding: These law enforcement officers are very helpful, friendly, approachable, well trained and most of all they have superb customer service skills. In the beginning of this summer, in the intersection of 148th ave and SE Eastgate way at the bottom of the hill next to Bellevue college, was an officer directing traffic FLAWLESSLY. You can always tell when a cop is directing the intersection because traffic is backed up and horrible…Not on his watch. I cruised right into this intersection and got to witness this man in all his glory making these cars fly by and decongesting traffic like no light ever could. The confidence and ease blew me away. I wish he could train an army to be just like him. I think the world would be a better place.
I just want to say thank you to the two officers who helped me tonight. My truck broke down in traffic and I was unable to get it out of the street on my own. Two officers came to my aid and helped push my truck to a safe place out of the way of traffic. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and help tonight. Thank you!!!
Glad to know another place where true action is not taken, but only a change to policy. Officer on the force police remains employed and chief Stephen Mylett does nothing about incident from 2018 and as of now located at Akron

On Thursday July 15th I needed to see my back surgeon in the Bellevue Medical Building. At the street level is a Starbucks, I was so impressed when two officers came in around noonish to buy something. They were friendly to the customers, aware of what was going on in their surroundings. They cared about the community and they were sincere. They were both friendly and made those around them including myself feel comfortable and safe. That if we needed their help they would be there for us. I wished I would have told them that the Vancouver WA police need to learn from them. In the past they were great when dealing with my foster son when I took him to Overlake Hospital with a behavior. And living in Vancouver the police my experience calling for neighbors who happen to have mental illness issues are not trained to adequately deal with this. They even have told me this. Who shoots kills others usually mentally unstable or mentally ill. There are a few good officers here yet there are a lot that we feel where I live that we can not call on them for help or they will switch turn the tables back on us. They were great when a friends five year old boy was missing for 10 hrs. They had ten officers here helping and a rescue dog! My friends boy was found several were great the one officer that I tried to talk to to let know that I took care of this young boy, enrolled him in school, that he had special needs did not wish to even talk with me. I had just watched him earlier that day. He was disrespectful, rude, and condescending. It was then that I said I worked with police in Utah, Mercer Island and Issaquah, Belleuve area, Eastside with foster care and group home work and was always treated with respect. Excellent police on Mercer Island when I did foster care in 2000-2003. Chief was great with helping my foster son de-escalate who had nine mental diagnosis, and was six feet two 262lbs. There are always good and bad apples in every walk of life. Lets strive to give credit to the good police and all they do for our communities.

Called there today because Tmobile located in Bellevue WA stole my property. The theft occured in washington and not at my home. They won't help me at all. I guess the bellevue WA police department has no problem with theives.
