Membership is open to all who support our mission. It involves modest annual dues to pay speaker expenses and support operations. There are no additional obligations of membership, no fund raising, no work parties.
City Club meets for lunch on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Northwood Hall (3240 Northwest Avenue, Bellingham, WA). A buffet lunch is served at 11:50 a.m.; the program starts at 12:20 p.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Lunch costs $13 for members and $18 for non-members when purchased in advance on Brown Paper Tickets; a limited number of tickets may be available at the door at the cost of $15 for members and $20 for guests. The program is open to the public.
Members have priority in asking questions during the question period at all programs.

Our primary activity is to provide a regular non-partisan forum for local citizens to explore topics of interest and importance to us all. We intend programs to enlighten and to advance thoughtful deliberation (and occasionally, to entertain us). Program focus can be local, regional, or broader.
We intentionally do not duplicate or participate in fund-raising and volunteer programs that are so effectively delivered by other community organizations.
