Bellingham MA Police

There were four juveniles playing in the Walmart parking lot 9pm , one of them almost got hit by a car so I made the call responded quicklyand the officer got everything under control nicely and efficiently..parents, watch your kids...what ever happened to maintaining your kids..? Thanks Bell-PD .

I had to call the Bellingham police late last night. The officers who responded resolved a very confusing and stressful situation with professionalism, patience and compassion. The town is fortunate to have this team.

I called the Bellingham police to ask if it's legal to smoke pot in a public parking lot and the police officer was extremely helpful and was trying her best to provide me with answers.... My children and I had left Walmart and a man was standing right by my car smoking pot I knew right away from the disgusting smell, and when I asked the man if he was smoking pot, he said yes. It was so infuriating because we all smelled like pot instantly, including in my car for a while. It appears there are still some "gray" areas in MA, which is so frustrating for those of us who have never had an interest in drugs, and try to teach our children NOT to do drugs... now I and my children smell it all the time in public areas! Thankfully, this police officer a woman... I didn't get her name was willing to help and she even said she'd have an officer go over to Walmart's parking lot since IT IS ILLEGAL to drive while intoxicated with pot... sadly unlike alcohol there's no test for it yet. I'll pray this man doesn't kill someone on the road tonight while DUI. A big THANK YOU to this Bellingham Police officer for taking her job seriously!

Terrible department, don't ever go there for help. No matter what evidence you have, clearly they don't care.
