Bellwood Village Hall

Ever since I got a few Ridiculous fines I call Bellwood to make sure it’s ok for certain things like city sticker question or where is legal to park and they never know they keep you on hold for 10 mins to later say I’ll transfer you to that department like you for real wow and then the city department are like we don’t know we’re going to transfer you to a voicemail that never answers. They keep you on transfers until you end up in voicemail never fails or something some have a lazy I don’t want to work attitude we need mayor to put them on check now

Too slow to bring the permits aprox. 1 week...the other villages around bring the permits same day

Went to pay a water bill. I had 70 cash, and wanted to pay 70 cash and rest on my debit card. Clerk at village hall started screaming and saying "that's two transactions" she would have to do. She made a big deal out of this. I left

There police department is corrupt. They discourage victims of crimes from pressing charges. My child has been victimized / bulled by the same person since high school and the police dept has never caught this individual so my child has never had a day in court. The village is a ripe off . The village building inspector is unwilling to work with you on deadlines timeframes and The staff is rude. I hate dealing with the village.

The water department cut off my water , right! So I go pay the bill in full, I call them to see when my water will be turned on. To my surprise, it takes 24 activation and I have to come personally to pay 100 dollars. Of course I can't pay the penalty fee on the website. The website says they open from 9-5pm but they only work till 3:30. So how can I pay the fee when my work schedule is from 6am to 5 pm? Thanks for providing the taxpayers the flexibility to pay our bills. This is the first time in 4 yrs of residing in Bellwood that this has happened to me of not paying my water bill due to being out of town. Unbelievable!!

That clerk J. Horten or J. MORTEN she is horrible! She needs her ass beat. She hates life & makes everyone hate paying their bills at this place. She needs to be FIRED!!!!!
