The wait wasn't long. Feels homey, seems like there's a lot of regulars. We sat at a booth, but there was also a tables and a bar and a function room. The silverware was clean, as were the cups, I had the eggs Benedict. I liked how easy it was to cut off each bite even though the English muffin was crispy. I added saratcha to my home fries. So good. Very good. Nice waitress.
Tasty food and great service. Kind people.and helpful staff. Great portions of food.Food: 5/5
Another great find! First time at the Belmont Hall Restaurant and I must say quality that’s the name of the game at the Belmont. Homemade delicious food. I was pleasantly surprised with the scrumptious flavors! I really haven’t had gravy so good. My husband had the fish chowder and he said you could tell it was homemade because it was so delicious! Also the waitstaff was outstanding! Priced right, And wheelchair accessible. I’ll be back for sure!
We worked with Belmont Hall for an on-site bbq for a college graduation party. Steve, Alex and staff did a fantastic job! The food was delicious and a big hit - especially the steaks tips and chicken tenders. The assorted desserts were homemade perfection. The setup, cooking and serving by Alex and Kari was a seamless, efficient process all round. Numerous guests complimented the food. We will absolutely use Belmont Hall again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to let their fabulous team do the cooking for you. Our sincere thanks to everyone there who helped make our graduation celebration such a great day!
Good find! I came here for breakfast, it’s a very comfy place. I definitely want to come back again and even try their lunch menu. Also my server, Donna was super helpful so if you get her…you’re in great hands!Recommended dishesTexas French Toast
My wife and I came here for the first time for our 5 year anniversary and we had Amanda as our server. We had such a wonderful time. We will be coming back again with our children. The place wasn’t too loud and nice little local escape.Food: 5/5
I came in for breakfast on the morning of September 13, 2022. The waitstaff: Donna and Laurie both did a great job with the service. However, some of the other stuff wasn't great. I ordered the fruit cup and ended up giving it back to the restaurant and asking for it to be removed from my bill. It was. This place had delicious fruit cups years ago and the stuff they have now is terrible! Zero flavor and the melon was tough to chew and tasted like it had been sitting in that cooler for a while. It isn't a "fresh fruit cup" as advertised. The stuff you had about 10 years ago, I would have agreed, it was fresh. The pancakes were plentiful. They had nice flavor and were super light and fluffy. The home fries were kinda dry and didn't have much flavor. This place has gone downhill slightly from what I remember. I used to come in here daily 10 years ago. Today's visit was the second one in the last 10 years. I live directly across the street from the restaurant and the only other recent time I was there was in December 2021. I surely will be back again, but not for a while. The dining room is still nice, it has that very cozy feel to it a little cramped but nice and cozy, nonetheless. So, I give BH&R 3 stars. Some improvements could definitely be made to the fruit cups for sure. I go to another restaurant in the state here and they carry the fruit cups that I once loved getting at this place here. They get them from "Holden Fruit & Produce" in Chelsea MA. I believe it is called "Junior's Pre-Cut" do yourselves a favor and make an immediate switch. The other restaurant I go to buys it in tubs and it goes into those glasses that you once put the old-style fruit cups in. And it is served at about $4.00 a cup and with a tall spoon. That is my up-to-date review on BH&R.
If I could give a negative 5, I would. Grapefruit juice was soo sweet I couldn't drink it. Grits, the spoonful I tried, tasted like dish water. Potatoes in the hash weren't cooked, but the meat was like crispy bacon..not in a good way. Hollandaise sauce was def out of a can?with extra salt . Waitress was beyond slow and clueless. Even my friend whom can eat anything...left most of his plate full. Possibly the worse breakfast ever . The place was medium busy..surprisingly, but it took 20 minutes to get our drinks ..another 15 before food using that term losely Save your money. Avoid this place like the plague
This places in Manchester a hole in the wall, on Friday all-you-can-eat fish, Friday. Highly recommend checking this plays out not only was it all-you-can-eat but the batter is light so you can have three or four helpings but $10. Joe c.Food: 5/5
