Lost/Stole mail. Brian Lene the Special Master refused to look into it. He basically called me just to call me a liar. The carrier did not make deliveries the day the mail went missing, she claims she did. I run 4k video surveillance 24/7 that has full view of street and mailbox. No postal vehicle drove down my street that day. A MN Enhanced ID, Credit Card, and Government paperwork were all "lost". I have handed the case over to the Post Master General's office for potential charges under U.S. Title 18. Watch your mail. We obviously have some theft going on at Bemidji Post Office.
Have had issues for years with picking up mail and running into other snags with billing. When you can try and get through to someone they'll often be incredibly short and not very helpful.
Was waiting near the door for my package. I didn't realize in time to run out and ask why a no delivery slip was put on with no knock. Come on. Has happened multiple times since moving to Bemidji.
Annie was extremely nice and helpful! I got a notice that my package wasn’t delivered because they couldn’t find a safe place to put it by my door there’s a lot of construction on my road right now and when I followed the directions on the slip they left on my door, it said it wasn’t ‘redeliverable’. I went to the post office and she was able to find my package. Seeing a lot of the reviews on here, I think it’s good for people to remember that if you are nice to others they will be nice to you. When I was there Saturday, the line was just about out the door and they were trying to help people as quickly and the best they could. A smile goes a long way.
Two stars because I realize the USPS is overwhelmed with the volume of mail passing through. However, I'm getting mail from other PO Box holders in my PO Box, and it makes me wonder if some of my mail is being mis-delivered. I also had a shipper try to mail me an item twice, but it was returned "no such number", despite the correct mailing address. A larger issue is the seemingly lack of concern this post office has with COVID precautions in a county with rising delta variant cases. One of the clerks sometimes wears a surgical mask correctly; some of them wear sheer face coverings in the shape of a mask; one has been wearing a neck gaiter. Please....these are not effective in preventing the spread of COVID! Because of this, I try not to got to this post office in person.
Failed to deliver my package, had to talk to 3 different clerks going back into the line each time, after 30 minutes they finally found my package that was suppose to go to my p.o. box. I don't think this was about race, could be but the service and time spent to try and retrieve my package was ridiculous. Would understand if they had a long day but come on 12 pm. They've also seemed very hostile, as in not being wrong. I tried my best to be kind and understand the situation about the error of my package and not the ego of who's right. Maybe I just came on a bad day. Thanks regardless for eventually coming to understanding and not getting frustrated if a clerk placed it somewhere else than it should be. We’re all human, we make mistakes.
I’ve never had issues with this post office. Knock on wood. I’ve had them hold my mail, hook me up with a po box, send packages, and received my mail just fine. In fact, my packages were delivered sooner than they’d tell me. People are nice enough. I like their services. A lot of negative reviews on here. So here’s my positively, marvelous rating. Cheers! My sister sent me a birthday card, put it in her mailbox June 1st in the cities. Several days ago the mail app said it would be arriving that day. Never received it. Today she texted me with an image of it. On the envelope the address was correct and clearly readable. It said not deliverable. Very disappointed. I also left a recent comment regarding this concern. Never heard back from my comment. Seems like a lack of compassion. Very disappointed.
Very disappointed in the local mail delivery. I have delivery notifications sent to my email address daily. Two days ago my email showed a scanned image of two cards for my birthday today. I have not yet received them. No mail today yet either. Where is my mail? Please do not confirm as delivered when items are not. That is a federal offense.
My package was supposedly delivered today, September 27th 2020, and it was at the USPS store the whole time. I had to call an international USPS number, for them to put me on hold for almost two hours, and then be told it was in store. I then tried to drive to the store, and ended up driving to the wrong store, which was entirely my fault, but now there's no way of me making it to the store that I was supposed to go to, and I CAN'T CALL THE STORE FOR CLARIFICATION AND RE-DELIVERY. Please update the number to your store, and let me speak to someone right away, I understand the menus are there for clarification and easy access for customers, but I am incredibly frustrated at how much time I had to waste to get a response and to find out my package was never even delivered.
