Psychology is the science of behavior, cognition, and affect. All psychology is grounded in research that ultimately seeks to understand the actions, thoughts, and emotions of people. The psychology major emphasizes psychology as an applied and scientific discipline. Students receive broad preparation for
employment in the human services and a wide range of
