Ben Cohen Field, which opened in September of 2010, is a state-of-the-art turf facility and home to the Rider men's and women's soccer and field hockey teams.
Equipped with lights, the field also provides additional and much-needed space for intramural and club sport practices and competitions. Rider partnered with industry leader FieldTurf to install the DuraSpine Monofilament Turf System.
Benjamin Cohen '10, who received a bachelor's degree in Communication, is the son of David and Rhonda Cohen, who donated to the turf field in his honor. David Cohen, who received an Honorary Doctor of Laws at Rider's Undergraduate Commencement ceremony in 2010, is an executive vice president of Comcast Corporation.
