Biased because the cashier was cute,weird part was she kinda looked like my ex's sister.Food as I assumed changed and what we hear about is wrong .If anything,they added more beef to burgers and funnel cake fries.Ate em later unheated and loved it . Good burgers. Take off of Bud's. Just like Bud's food. Same recipes. Used to be a Bud's and current owners bought it out. A bit shabby inside. Open all night.Food: 5/5
My order was well prepared and delicious! I couldn't ask for much more, and they didn't skimp on the cheese or fries. Some guys loudly playing videos on their phone next to me kinda ruined the atmosphere, but the food was great.Food: 5/5
Food is always delicious but make sure to check your order! Paid for 2 double patty burgers plus bacon, cheese & jalapeños. Received none of the toppings we paid extra for, both burgers were single patty, but still large Patty's, and delicious for the price. I did order a regular fry and pretty sure I got a large. Still definitely worth checking out! A new orleans staple if you want fast food prices, late hours, and real meat/food!
Just buy the laxative at the drug store it’ll hurt less than what the chili did to me… my boyfriend got the chili burger not knowing it had onions in it so I ate his chili burger and he ate my cheeseburger. He was in the bathroom the next morning telling me he wasn’t feeling well. Hours later it creeps on to me and let’s just say i live in the bathroom now febreezing the chili stank coming out of my body. Never again.

It's no surprise this place cuts so many corners--- even the first letter of their name is circular. If you're a local burger joint and don't at least make your own patties or cut your own fries, you're on borrowed time. Ben's food is pretty bad, but their taste in advertising might be even worse. There's some truth in it though---y'boy in one video says "...they just taste like the 90's to me." I agree: this stuff tastes like it's been sitting around in a bag since the 1990's. Ordered the namesake Big Ben burger, a #4 burger, chili cheese fries, and funnel cake fries. The burger: premade patties that were cooked on one side with little char on the other. The only flavor was the lighter fluid that stuck to my tongue long after I threw the burger away. The texture had the sponginess of an elementary school breakfast sausage patty and the bun dissolved as soon as I picked it up. The chili was almost definitely from a can and the fries were congealed and bursting like the filling of a wet diaper. Bacon was limp and chewy. The order of chili fries: as above, except in the container it quickly solidified into a jiggling yellow and brown cursed brick of a jello mold. One bite gave immediate heartburn. I threw it away. The funnel cake fries: inedible. Grease-soaked and squeaked like crushed styrofoam when I bit into them. Could just as easily use them as packing peanuts. They were capped by a wet cement mixture of powdered sugar, condensation and grease. Also went into the trash. But then, even my garbage ended up getting indigestion from these dollar store ingredients. So, if this is your flavor, save your money. Go get the same ingredients at a dollar tree, leave them out on a hot driveway for an hour, get'em all STIRRED on the asphalt, and voila: an authentic Ben's experience at home.
